Well thats what QT and Brosnan want to do.But the producers of Bond want it to be a bigger action flick than DAD with explosions and gadgets, where as QT wants to do a proper espionage Bond movie set in the 60ies. :D

     IMO TD was the best bond.He actually did some research and then played bond.He read each and every Bond book and played that serious Bond role which was Ian Flemmings true protayal of Band.No smart come backs,no witty comments,no gags(RM in OP in that clown dress :x :x :x ) :D

i have to admit i was a massive Bond (movie) fan as a kid. however i never read any of Flemmings books and know nothing about what he conceived Bonds personality was like. I just Timothy Dalton was a shite actor and the Bond movies he was in had some of the weakest plots ever (it's like the director was sitting around thinking "yeah, Moore was shite, how can we possibly sink lower?" and someone replied "Cast Dalton!" )

gotta admit that oppinion is based on feelings i had when i was about 12, i haven't seen a dalton flick since then. maybe it was over my head.
