The aussie selectors are a professional outfit. There friendships with cricketers do not influence the decision to play him or not. Though BCCIs functioning has got a lot better than it was.....its still not upto the mark.

The gap between the Domestic Cricket scene and the international cricket is huge. Though they have cauffers over flowing with cash they cant provide decent facilities to the ranji players. let alone the 2nd or 3rd division ppl.

why cant the Indian cricket board take similar action against non performing players of high stature?

they could always go back to the backyard cricket to get back into form and prove their worth before coming back into the team again. cant they?

the pakis are unpredictable....I enjoyed aussies loosing more than pakistan winning...after afridi got out I thot it wld b a similar tale of lower order collapse. but Rana stuck arnd., the turning point was symonds being smashed by razzaq. after that they cld. take singles off mcgrtah and lee.
