Strangely some people have not evolved yet ,their evolution is yet to reach the sophisticated level of civilized people....

if u read something apart from evangelical news letter and web sites, u wud have come across the following facts:Xeno wrote:The truth is that the people of Andaman(Natives) were not given proper relief by the gobvernment even after so many days, first they have thse rules that no foreign agencies can go there to do the relief efforts, then we have had so many reports in the media that the indian relief offcials(army, ngos, police, state machinery etc) were totally biased in providing the relief ,they were just ignoring the native people of Andaman and were only helping tjose people who were not the natives ,based on their caste creed etc.
As to your question about andmana sinking yes there has been massive devastation no one will know the exact figures becuase no one i sall.owed to go there to help people ,all the non natiives are out of Andaman and Nicobar and the natives are left there sinking ,I hope they are still alive. This is the truth.

1) many of the tribals got away to safety in highlands coz they have a better sense of approaching disasters (testimonies by a few rescued tribals on media)
...
9) its the sovereign right of the indian govt to accept or refuse any help.

7) the groups that are complaining loudest abt the indian govt's attitude are the evangelicals who lost an opportunity to increase their flock.

Xeno wrote:I really appreciate your effort in putting up all these random references together.CtrlAltDel(can you come up with an easy to type name I have hard time typing it) what kind of senses do humans have to predict the impending disasters, just becuase they are tribals does it mean they have more senses than otherwise people living in cities would have ,I thougt you were more intelligent than that,
ok I dont wanna make any personal comments about anyone, but why do you have to see everything from the religious point of view, this is a huge calamity of incomprehensible proportions ,just becuase you dont like the evangeliclas you wont let them help people ,are you not concerned about the loss of human life the suffering the agony.
If quoting cliches makes you feel justifying the suffereing of people of A&N then so be it ,I feel sorry for you.

govt of india is handling the situation very well and have refused external help not only in Andamans, but also on the main land. the govt also has enuf resources to help Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia. Indian navy was responsible for the survival of Maldivians in few of their islands. Indian Navy was the first to reach eastern sri lankan coast and set up rescue ops and hospital facilities. Indian navy is helping out with medical facilities in Indonesia too. we dont need much external help, thank you.Xeno wrote:why do you have to see everything from the religious point of view, this is a huge calamity of incomprehensible proportions ,just becuase you dont like the evangeliclas you wont let them help people ,are you not concerned about the loss of human life the suffering the agony.

what cities have been wiped of in andaman. only big town there is Port Blair, the capital where many settlers died...a large proportion of ppl who died there are settlers from the main land. mnay tribals died but a larger number escaped by their own skills or have ended up in relief camps.Xeno wrote:Where do you get your fcts from man, there have more casualities in Andaman and Nicobar than any other place in Indian ,whole cities have been wiped off,
why dont u do the same too, before making random accusations abt the indian govt...?Xeno wrote:no one please make sure have the facts right before you make such irresponsible statements
