Will-power is a very nice word to hear...but be honest to yourself and answer these questions.

1. Can you scale Mt.Everest without medical supplies?

2. Can you beat a horse in a race over 2 kilometres?

3. Can you survive on oxygen for 15 days?

Will-power of a person differs for different objectives. It differs in different circumstances. And it also depends heavily on a lot of external circumstances. Had it been just for will-power, nothing would have been impossible for anyone in the world.

I would suggest attending a session of NA or AA for people who are saying that quitting cigarettes is that easy for everyone across the board. I'm not saying that quitting is impossible, but just putting across the point that its not all that easy as non-smokers think it is.

Well the point being discussed here is about the will power to quit..to QUIT SMOKING. n not bout tryin to do anythin thtz beyond human capability.

I dnt think anyone believes tht itz easy to quit.. ..but itz not impossible either ,as said earlier.

Well speakin from a non smokerz point of view yes it seemz pretty easy 2 tell n think tht itz no big deal... to quit ,to b able to change or quit any habit is v hard...but therez no harm in tryin is there?.. :)

Exactly the point. Neither am I saying that we shouldn't try. But talk like..

The point I am trying to make is that all that gibberish about how difficult it is to give it up is just that - gobbledygook.
