Can you imagine the scene aboard the sinking Titanic, if patriarchy and male chivalry were traded for feminism, equality, and "women's liberation"? In such a case, the children would have all been loaded into the life boats first, and then the remaining life boats would have had to have been equally divided between the men and the women. Of course, the feminists would probably have argued that the captain of the ship was a man, and so the blame for the sinking ship was the fault of men. Therefore, an exception should be made, and a "women and children first" policy should be followed in this case, when it comes to who should be allowed into the life boats. Note that the "women and children first" policy puts women before children, instead of children before women. Does this sound familiar? This sort of sounds like our depraved public policy of abortion on demand, doesn't it? Hmmmmm? WOMEN FIRST! As for the men on the sinking Titanic, well, if the captain of the ship was anything like the feminist lapdog family court judges we have today, then the ruling would have been, "Sorry, men, but the sharks need to eat too, don't you know?"...............

Otherwise, what we get will lead us to dangerous conclusions. If you have doubts, then I can post another statistical analysis in newspapers which says "Women are Born Liars." But I will not accept it until I get a similar analysis done for men which may in the end say "Men are born liars"..

Members of Sangyabalya, a society for promotion of marital harmony, staged a dharna in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue on M G Road in Bangalore on Sunday, in support of husbands and families victimised by anti-dowry laws.
In a pamphlet distributed by the protesters, the Society members have pointed out that the laws do not recognise the possibility of wives and daughters-in-law ill-treating the husband and aged in-laws or other vulnerable members of the husband’s family.
The society also runs a helpline for affected husbands and their families.

each year. However, "The fact that we issued a warning should be an
indication of how widespread the problem is," said John Peters, the
department's Citizen Services Specialist for India. Peters, who is
based in Washington, D.C., told India-West that the local American
Embassies could provide a list of Indian lawyers in New Delhi.
Angela Aggeler, a spokesperson for the State Department in
Washington, D.C., said that "American citizens are often extremely
desirable" to Indian families with marriageable daughters.
Still, as in any case where an American citizen is accused of
breaking local laws overseas, there is not much that the State
Department can do, she told India-West. "Our role in the State
Department is maintaining the safety and security of American
citizens overseas. That is even more important to us than issuing
visas." Although the department will do "what we can to ensure fair
treatment under local laws, you need to be aware of the laws in that
country, regardless of how true the accusations are. It's incumbent
upon [the U.S. citizen] to adhere to the local law."
Aggeler, who has lived in India, says she empathizes with citizens in
this predicament. "I know how complicated the law is in India," she

Just now, I finished couselling a guy who is being threatened by his in-laws and also the CAW(Crime against women) Cell in police station. The guy works in an MNC and his parents do not stay with him. Now, they have to run around the CAW cell. What they get is continuous threats ? Somehow, we the counsellors have given him enough support so that he is not afraid of the hollow threats. Otherwise, imagine your psychological state when sitting in a police station with 3 or 4 policemen shouting and threating you. The guy really has got the nerves. But think of his parents. If they have some disease or heart problem etc, then where things can lead to.
There are many such institutions in India which are based on negativity (ex. corruption and bribery). Can such organisations ever do anything positive for the society ? The response of many Feminists to the misuse of dowry laws is "Tell us which other law is not misused ?".
How many people out of the 100 crores do really know what dowry laws are ? Not even 1%. Then whats the use of having laws to create a deterant when the violators do not even know the existence of the law.
So far as feminists are concerned what they want is a headcount of Bakras to show their achievements to the vested interests abroad. They just have to show how many are booked (innocent or otherwise).
Just few days back, I got a 1 full page article in Newspaper Statesman on Misuse of dowry laws by wilful women which advised the females some patience and respect for other's rights while asserting their own rights. Now, we are going to convert this kind of newspaper articles into big frames and start an exhibition.
A typical false can can go on for 4 years. The expense incurred by the govt. per case is at least Rs.200,000/- for the salaries of the judges, public prosecuters, clerks,police salaries, jail expenses, transportation, food, infrastructure costs like room rents. For 50,000 false cases it can go to Rs.1000 crores of tax payer's money.
In the end of the day, we all are shown statistics that the dowry deaths are increasing. Do not we have a right to ask whats the return out of the Rs.1000 crores of taxpayer's money when the situation just worsens because they just got the wrong people 90% of the times ?
BTW, an informal survey that I carried out shows that most men are indifferent to dowry where as most women consider it as a social ritual which has to followed like the way women follow superstitions. Many even argued emotionally, "see it is all balanced !! People take dowry for sons on one hand and give it to their daughters in the otherhand." I told them about the laws and their response was "who cares.......nobody goes to the police." I was taken aback by the brazen contempt of the ladies to the law of the land. May be, emotional brains to not have any logical structure and that may be the reason that the law does not get into their heads. Then, I remembered what Tulasi Das has said some 7 centuries back "The woman's mind is like a river. If not contained it will go astray." I realised how profoundly true it is. Of course, Feminists will accuse the above as Patriarchy.
The truth is that any house run by a female (where husband is henpecked) never runs well.

Any issue can be given a twist of dowry ......
The chance of a Muslim man getting into false dowry case is about 10 times higher than people of other religion. In case of Muslims, a man can marry again without getting formal divorce. So, when a relationship is strained, the women feel a lot more threatened. So they fire the Dowry Law Bullet to keep the guy and his family on run.

The court, in the interim order, also asked the police to file their say on the anticipatory bail plea filed by the singer.
The son and brother of Kumar were arrested on December 26 by the Bandra police following a complaint lodged by his daughter-in-law Aneesha.
Aneesha lodged a complaint against the singer, his wife Mahita, son Dilshad and cousin Mois Ahmed Sheikh alleging she was being harrased over demand for Rs 25 lakh as dowry. PTI

A guy facing a dowry case whose wife got the police seize his entire houseful of articles in the name of dowry brought by her:
Finally I got the interim custody of the white goods seized form my
house , not even a single item went to her and all the items that she
claims she gave in dowry are to be taken by me ( interim custody)
ordered by the court after furnishing a bond and surety. The past
month was a horrible one.Thanks a ton to D'souza,nridivorce, Ash,
Bharti and others who helped me through this. The Judge did an
excellent job, I will collect the items from the cops and my life has
changed form this day onwards. This will help me in defending the
divorce and maintenance case that she has filed ( due in the last week
of Jan).
Just imagine my life if it has gone against..... anyway the party has
started for me for a life time and mayhem for her. Am taking an off
tomorrow to relax with a couple of my friends.
I thank God and my fellow victims and one and all who helped me
through this, this victory belongs to one and all in the group. May
God help you all.
Thanks again and will now fight till finish.

There is no doubt that the newspaper would not have described an alleged male who assaulted a young girl as a "cradle robber"; nor would they have used an equivalent of the word "gal" to describe him. And there is an equally unlikely chance that the act of getting the child to have sex with him would be referred to as "seduction". Etah dowry death ‘victim’ comes alive

A married woman disappears with her paramour and plots a conspiracy with her father to get her husband imprisoned in a case of dowry death. Five years later, Sushila resurfaces and her husband, Brajesh Kumar, is now threatening to kill her.
The UP police had put Kumar, a factory owner in Noida, and his mother behind bars for 14 months and submitted a chargesheet in court within 22 days of the FIR being filed without even tracing the body. The twist in the tale was that the case rested on the testimony of two witnesses — close relatives of the ‘dead’ woman. Kumar paid Rs 1 lakh to the woman’s father to get the witnesses to turn hostile and the court acquitted him and his mother in the ‘murder’ for lack of evidence.
Police say that Sushila claims to have run off with a truck driver and bore him two children. A case of providing wrong information has been registered and Gendalal has been arrested.
‘‘We have now got to arrange for the security of the woman. Her husband might bump her off,’’ said Senior Superintendent of Police (Etah) Anand Swaroop. It been a major embarrassment for the police, he concedes. ‘‘There was a fundamental error on the part of the police in the investigation. We should have been more careful with the witnesses as well before arresting innocent persons.’’
Kumar and Sushila were married for only three years when the 20-year-old woman disappeared from Kanchangari village in Etah while he was away. On November 23, Sushila’s father Gendalal told the Etah police that his daughter has been murdered and her body disposed of in the river.
The same day, an FIR was lodged under Sections 498A (dowry harassment), 304A (dowry death) and 201 (destruction of evidence). The FIR claimed Sushila was being harassed for a gold necklace and a cow as dowry.
Two men, Ram Niwas and Mahavir came forward to say that they saw the body being dumped into in the river. The police arrested Brajesh and his 65-year-old mother Brahma Devi and on December 15, a chargesheet was also submitted in court. The bail applications of both mother and son were dismissed in district and sessions court; finally Brahma Devi got bail from the High Court after spending four months in jail.

Harassment/Blackmail by girls in dowry cases

It is high time for the Supreme Court to save India by looking into the growing menace of girls and her parents misusing the dowry laws to report to police and/or make false accusations/BLACKMAIL the boys & his family and thus harass husbands and his old parents mentally and by demanding huge sums of money.
Such girls have no respects for the elders and can even fool the law/police/courts by shedding false tears and making false reports, because the law will accept whatever they say blindfolded.
How can the law proceed under section 498a etc even before proper enquiry? This is really disgusting because evidence is the basis of proceeding in any reported crime.
Without looking deeply is exposing the society to a serious virus, which will paralyse the whole society and will be a cause of making India a land of culprits.
This will make men stay away from marriages. How will the India grow without the new generations. These loopholes in the law can even make people adopt girls and use them to marry boys and then break off the marriage within 1 day to 6 months and then forcing / harassing / extort huge sums of money from husbands who sincerely looked for a trust worthy wife.
Such people are worse then the women who operate from bro***** as they will then work from within the Indian family system. I sincerely hope that the lawmakers will look into this very seriously. There are many such cases as reported on http://indiafamily.net or http://indiafamily.net/talk/messages/12 ... 1060610216 and many other web sites.
Surprisingly the most powerful internet search engine http://www.google.com comes out with only Indian sites which talk about such ghastly acts done by girls to their husbands.

Straight facts on the sec. 498A. misusage.
a)Throughout the world domestic issues are solved by civil laws, only India is having this criminal law in it.
b)Poor or rural woman or their husbands don't even know about this law(70%) indian population and can't use this law to control their husband or stopping husband performing cruel acts on their wifes.
c)Indian Educated woman are changed a lot unlike decades back...very harming in nature and selfish inside marriages and blackmailing husbands to the extent of having following REALITY suicide rates in India (Indiastat.com)
Suicide rates in India:
National Suicide rate is: 11 people per 100,000
For males in the age group of 30 to 44, the Suicide rate is a whopping 508 per 100,000 persons; for women it is 220. The Suicide rates among men in the age group of 45 to 59 is a shocking 1,812 per 100,000 persons and among women, nearly 550. So much more people are dying due to SOWRY harassment than the DOWRY harassment.
However, among divorced males the suicide rate is 164 per 100,000 persons, but even in this class, among females the rate is only 63 per 100,000. While the suicide rate for separated men is about 167, for females it is only 41 per 100,000 persons.
d) Above statistics are surprising but is reality. REASON FOR DOWRY WORD spread everywhere and became notorious in Indian system is due to spread by more than 60 Women Organizations in India for the decades and Culturally India is very inclined/supportive to women and is the advantage taken by these organizations.
e) Compare western males to Indian Males, see their Physical Health look up difference..heavy bellies..tired harworking....burdened...stressed...balded..Western men look STRONG heavily fit, because of the criteria and laws men follow.
f) Animals got Rights, Women got Rights .Men protect India by fighting war..but he doesn't have Rights/laws to protect himself inside marriage.
g) Introduce Civil laws inside the marriages and share property equally between hubby/wife providing fastest divorces if they are incompatible rather suffering men with this 498A menace.
h)USA state Dept. already warning Foreigners at : http://travel.state.gov/travel/india.html
at "DOWRY/VISA DEMANDS" section not to travel for marriage to India clearly to avoid 498A.
"DOWRY/VISA DEMANDS: A number of U.S. citizen men who have come to India to marry Indian nationals have been arrested and charged with crimes related to dowry extraction. Many of the charges stem from the U.S. citizen's inability to provide an immigrant visa for his prospective spouse to travel immediately to the United States. The courts sometimes order the U.S. citizen to pay large sums of money to his spouse in exchange for the dismissal of charges. The courts normally confiscate the American's passport, and he must remain in India until the case has been settled. There are also cases of U.S. citizen women whose families force them against their will into marriages to Indian nationals."
k) I hear lot of hatredness towards India by NRIs who are facing this 498A menace (some even lost their parents due to mental harassments by police/judiciary dealings), I doubt whether they turn back to help India anytime in future.

Watch Movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", the father (of Portokalos family) gives the groom (Ian Miller) documents of a house and the groom exclaims "Oh my God, they wrote us a house". Is it dowry or Streedhan ? May be you will call it streedhan. In that case, the father should have done it offline (off the wedding dinner) or he would have handed it over to his daughter and not son-in-law.
