Hotmail had a lot of scope since it was the first web-based mail provider but it did not capitalize on that and so now Yahoo is the pioneer in web mail

But hotmail's Spam filters are among the best .Yahoo has decent filters

but they do have the Bulk mail folder where everything is Spam....

and Hotmmail 25 MB is gettable just by a few clicks

Yahoo has a bigger subscriber base than hot mail? most of the ppl. having a hotmail account also have a yahoo account....

but rite now i think ppl. wld. prefer yahoonetime....

Yeah...yahoo has a clean n easy interface and most of all is 250 mb so u don't need to delete mails very often.In hotmail i get that dreaded "You

are out of Space" mail every twoo weeks.....

But rite now Gmail is the king of the ring...even in beta

yes Spam is useless but i subscribe to some tech newsletters and

other stuff like Jokes n Tips n trix that really enrich the knowledge and

are quite useful too......

Now that i have 25 MB in my hotmail...that will be safely guarded

and will b used only for Official purposes :wink:

The good thing abt. gmail is that they encourage u to have IDs that u can use for official purposes...and it sounds coool too

yeah and they also allow the use of . in usernames which most

email providers don't.And the beauty of gmail is the Labels thingy which

are immensely useful for categorizing mails

Also the fact that it stores replys in the form of conversations makes it very comfortable to go thru ur mails.....

But the cause for complaint is that Gmail does'nt open on

all PC's....it requires IE6 which many cafes don't have.

thatz why i carry my TD with me which has portable firefox on it...
