I disagree.

Online friends are nothing (however good they might be) in comparision to a real physical friend.

i have very few close friends...who i love spending time with...but i have awesome online friends..who i love talkin to ..and spend most of my day doin the same...im use to u all ...ppl..cant live wid out ya !!!

Not saying it is bad or something.



Just that having a regular physical friend has a lot of advantages. You can touch him, see him. It makes a lot of difference. for instance, it would seem silly if you sat smirking at the monitor (when ur ol frnd teels u a joke).

A big diadvantage of an online friend is that you dont know if he is hiding under a fake personality.

Ur best frnd was also a stranger once... so r the virtual frnds now...time n by ppl get to know each other a bit n tat was make them frnds.

A frnd is not the one with whom u hang out to smoke, booze, party kinda..

Hez a frnd whoz there for u when ever u need something which u cannot share emotionally.... male ya phir female.... u can help them thru chat to0... its not physical appearence thats needed....its the attention the person needs....
