Exactly where I started from. You do not need to love them, but hate begets hate.Reality,,its here.Accept it. wrote:But once you have hatred in your midst there is no way you can escape the eventuality of worse things to follow.
Like war and innocent lives lost. Where will this end ?
Exactly, if we spend our time and resources spreading hate we are only preparing generations to carry on this Hate wave....do we not?
A paki reading pakidogs will formulate another anti india site and the vicious circle grows.Reality,,its here.Accept it. wrote:>[b] Okay, Lets deal with it this way.
Accepted that Islam isnt the uniting factor for pakistan. But I guess a lot of us would like to know what holds that failed nation togeather. You do not need to agree with our assumptions but you do need to have your answers too. Just want to know if you are also disputing the known fact as to why pakistan was formed.??
I do have to agree with you when you say that religion isnt the only factor holding pakistan togeather coz that reason can not explain why Bangladesh came into exsistence or why sindh & balochistan also want to get separated.
We do have to look at other factors than just "the videshi haat" angle..
History of Pakistan, two selfish military rules, rest corrupt govts who fell to civil wars.
Do you call this a nation being held together. Apart from just being funded and maintained by external forces I do not see why this nation exists at all.
We as Secular and Prosperous India itself are slap on the face of a mistaken dream.
A mistaken dream of the likes of Jinnah and the "So called RVs".
Hmmm,, Mayavi agrees with what I have to say ,,and so does DQ , apart from a few minor disagreements which are bound to be there as we are a very diverse group here. So I was just wondering why were we arguing in the first place?:) when everybody is talking about the same points.
Its like the arguement about which is more a dozen or 12 coins....everybody meaning the same but in different ways.
Finally a summary with what everyone agrees.
> Religion was cited as the only reason for formation of pakistan.
> Religion is no longer the only reason that holds it togeather,, its just one of the many other factors.
> India is definetely a safer and more secure place for muslims to grow and prosper than pakistan.
So here we are back to the discussion mode from an agruementative one.
About a site like 'paki-dogs' spreading hate,, this is a free world and you have all kinds of people trying to sell their wares. The answer to that isnt banning them but by making the gullible people more knowledgable. If you go on banning everything that you consider not good or safe by some fixed standards we will end up being in theocratic society rather than a free democratic society . Its the freedom of the people that ultimately brings peace. Free people dont have to habour hate or resentment towards others. That in a way helps in spreading peace and harmony around.
p/s: [size=12] [b] As I was typing this post , someone told me that the thread had been removed.
I fail to understand the logic that went into making the decision.
I have a few questions for the moderators to think about and answer:
>What was it that you found offensive about the thread? Was it the link that was posted to a particular site or the entire thread?
> Did you bother to go through the whole thread and the various posts on the thread and see if the discussion on it was mature or not?
> Do the moderators think that the members on fhdb do not have the maturity to understand and react to certain kinds of material posted on the boards?
> What matters most on a disscussion board? The view point of one member ( whose posts do not even border on issues that anyone even thinks about in their weirdest dreams) or the worthy discussion that other members had on the particular thread?
> Do you think its fair to the members who actually posted on that thread investing their time and thought rather than just spam about " butts and asses" and get their postes removed?
I do have many more questions , but if the moderators answer to these then I think I can spare my time to ask them for clarifications.
Finally I wish that the moderators do spend sometime over a request before honouring it in a hurry. I wish better judgement prevails and the thread is back where it belongs ,, back on the boards.
p.s to a p.s: There are a whole lot of things you can to do rather than just remove the thread,, like..change the title, deactivate the link, or make the link redirect, or not let it be posted in the first place rather remove it after its been their for while and been discussed about.
