This might be just about the only item we've ever offered on ebay that wasn't an antique, but it's such an incredibly fine hand woven aubusson-type tapestry, we just wanted to see if our buyers/collectors and designers out there would be as thrilled by these are we were when we found them (look carefully to see if you can tell it from the antique ones, please). There are some reproductions that I would never be fooled by - but this is certainly not one. I had to really look closely, and then verify with the seller that these were not, in fact, antique. The looms are the same used by the 19th century tapestry industry, and you can see all the same type of wove/open and uneven yarn workings that you depend on finding in the 'real' thing. I'm putting a price on this one of just what we have in it, and I want you to let me know if you think they're good enough for us to 'market' to our customers. This one is in beautiful colors, even they are muted to those you'd find in the $2500-$5000 aubusson fragment pillows. But you'll be amazed at how inexpensive this stunning & large pillow is. Let's see what you think it's worth.
