right now i remember 'Chowmohla' (spelling???) and 'Purani Haveli' palaces as being open to public. and yes, they are worth visiting (what a question??? )

Where are these 2 palaces located?

Chowmohla (?) is at a walkable distance from charminar, via lad bazaar. Purani Haveli is abt 2kms from Charminar via a maze of streets. a rick wud take u there.

Which one is better for a visit i.e. lots of interesting stuff to see?[/qupte]both are worth seeing and very interesting.

i think half a day (abt 4 hours) is enuf for both. duno abt holidays...u have to confirm from someone else. most likely, they wud be open on weekends.
