Bad quizzes are those that ask only "tallest building" types of questions.

Good Quizzes are as follows.

Do not post Quizzes. Once the quizmaster closes his quiz by announcing the answers and the winners, the next quiz can be posted.

Here's the first FH Quiz

1. The term usually means "something outstanding or unusual". Perry Farrell first heard it being used in a Three Stooges short film and liked the sound of it. Inspired, he conceived an American traveling music festival of this name in 1991 featuring alternative rock, rap and punk rock bands, dance and comedy performances, and craft booths. The festival ran till 1997 quite successfully serving as a Woodstock for grunge and alternative rock bands. What was it called?

2. An eccentric folk singer, he is perhaps better known for his involvement with Pink Floyd, and David Gilmour in particular. He is supposedly heard on "Have A Cigar" by Floyd. A good friend of Jimmy Page and the band, how was he honored by Led Zeppelin?

3. Bogart’s drinking buddies included Frank Sinatra, Lauren Bacall[of course], David Niven and Judy Garland. He called them the Holmby Hills ____ _____. Fill in the blanks.

5. Which is the only capital city in the world named after Lord Hanuman?

6. Cyrus Avery of Tulsa and John Woodruff of Springfield sowed the seed for what is today seen in retrospect as the single most important war-time mobilization effort in history. In 1939, John Steinbeck in his classic novel and essay "The Grapes of wrath" called this the American consciousness immortalized. What is this currently revered American piece of history that was crucial to America's fortune in WW-II I am talking about?

7. Connect Fox Mulder(X-files fame) and Douglas Adams.

Post the answers with the Question numbers in 1 post. Do not post each answer in a different post. They will not be counted.

Answers will be announced when all questions are cracked. 1 Point for each
