I may have heard her songs, or her radio performances (i think she did plays and movies too) while I was a lil baby. Dont particularly member any of her songs by name.

Unkie and me parents used to live in Dubai until the late 70s; which is when they musta got some record or heard her on the radio, bcuz I heard them mention her name. Does she have Dame in her name.

kinda both.

see, the song is called vera, it's from the wall. and goes

does anybody here remember vera lynn?

remember how she said that we would meet again, some sunny day...

vera, vera...what has become of you?

does anybody else in here feel the way i do?

so that is the song. not very catchy, i'll admit. i don't seem to have succeeded in stringing together much of a band. but i was in a very vera frame of mind, and it was late in the night...you know how these things happen.

seemed like a good idea at the time, to start a song, that someone could help me finish ~sigh

by Tiger » Mon Sep 27, 2004 8:54 am

I do remember Vera Lynn. She is still one of my favourite singers and I have quite a collection of her songs. You need any mp3?
