Places around town?

Ok...pop quiz for all you people who are in Hyderabad. where is a nice place to go and just chill 1)by yourself and 2)with some friends?

i am pretty bored in Hyd since i cant find anything to pump up the juice here like back in US. let me know your thoughts on this guys and gals.

Hands down, it's gotta b Bahaar Kayf at Basheerbagh!!! Spending a mighty part of my college life in that danky hole-in-the-wall. incase u plan to drop in, lemme know

Chill by yourself... hmm.. I can suggest LG 180 Lts Fridge..

But seriously I think Coffe houses are kinda nice to sit and talk or just hang out... If you like Bars.. there are quite a few.. check out fullhyd.com main page for a listing.

I shouldnt even be posting here cuz Im not in Hyd and unfamiliar with all the cool places to chill...........but when I was there the last time, I hung out at Cafe Coffee Day (at 2 different locations) and the malls.

I shopped a lot, I mean A LOT! So most of my time was spent at stores and boutiques................cant wait to come back and hit the shopping scene again!

Im jealous of all of you in Hyd. I really wish I could come back. *sigh*

well places to chill by myself and with friends--accessibility to food with a nice variety (for those who don't have all the same tastes) and some nice quiet places. I have been to Secret Lake and I find that to be a nice place but you cant go to just one place ..anyway if you know of even small nooks where you can just kinda go and not get annoyed!!

When I was there last time:

After shopping and sight-seeing the whole day, my coz & I chilled at this place..umm that Laasi place infront of Big Byte [dunno the name?]

Was the best drink.......*sigh* good times good times

hey, i did the same while i was there -- coffee shops and malls! there's a new mall + cineplex called Prasad's... its one of the better places so check it out

Melting Moments(opp. KBR park), great ice-cream, very small place but they have a lawn sorta thing where u can sit n have ure ice cream.

Clever plan, Badmash. And I dont mind at all if Akash joins me in my shopping sprees. He can hold all my bags..........in other words, he'll be left 'holding the bag'. :wink:

oh yeah, they serve ice creams with fresh fruits in Melting Moments. i remember trying out "strawberry strip"

A good place for ice creams is Havmor at Ohri's.Their ice-cream is the best in the city.Melting Moments is kinda expensive for the ice cream they gave(this was 1 yr ago,I dunno whether it changed or not).

Then there is place beside 36 Jubilee HIlls,its been a long time since I have been there(1 yr).I think its still good.
