Movie review : The Day After Tomorrow ( No spoilers!)

The Day After Tomorrow would have been an excellent National Geophraphic Documentary if the director removes the stuffed story. The film has awsome special effects. It is a treat to watch such a well made film as far as special effects go. 20 mins down you wonder why put a love story in this type of a film?



The film is silly in many ways. When half of the developed is going to end, why bother to love someone?. Why try to start a love affair.?



It becomes little hard to digest a 1000 year process in 2 Hrs that too with a love story looming!.



The film dissappoints in many levels. The story makes no sense. Watch is only for SFX.



would be awsome if this film is re-mastered for IMAX screens

Watched it last night totaly dissapointed not good at all!!!! go with least expectations then you might like it!!!

went out to watch van helsin but was late to the theater, so watched day after tomorrow...its very simple story...starts with a pisking scene...then ppl die and cities are destroyed...then piskin...then ppl die...followed by a whole lot of piskin...again ppl die and cities are destroyed...then I sleep for sometime and wake up and pisking continues and ppl die and some live and after some more pisking its The End with the president of the world 'er united istates askin ppl not to use petrol :roll:

i am sick of disaster movies and creature flicks. i am NOT gonna watch this. i am waiting for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of A...<something>...

Me too.
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

i heard the latest installment is darker than the previous two...cant wait to watch it...its releasing this friday isn't it?

Is it releasing in the IMAX at Prasads or at the multiplex.BTW is it releasing at Prasads at all?Because when I saw todays paper it only mentioned(I think) Sangeet(Only a noon show) and Skyline(These guys dont have AC,no way I am going here). :D
