I should ask, why in the first instance you are thinking of a life after death. You anyhow would not know what it is if it is... and would not know what this life is in the next life...
So why think of life after death?
Ultimately reality is death... that is all. So let us before reaching our ultimate reality make full use of it...
Answer to this question you would find in the message hidden. If you can find, fine.
What do you think of life after death?

Read \"Life After Death\" and decide for yourself. It\'s a collection of results of research done at various places around the world, and also a collection of some real facts. Some from India too.

Tried to recollect the author\'s name, but couldn\'t coz it\'s been ages since I have seen the book on my shelf. Some info if you want to buy: it\'s the size of the tenth class english non-detail book. Written by a woman, name sounds like Simon Laura ...something like that. It\'s one of the first books written on the topic. It\'s published in India too, by an Indian publisher. Should cost less than 150 bucks, that\'s my guess.

That happens to the body, not to ur soul. translation from Bhagavad Gita \"The body is like clothing, when it becomes dirty/ becomes unfit for your use, the almighty shall decide to change it\"

Life after death???

Read \"One\" by a gentleman called Richard Bach. Lots of after death concepts in it, and very believable too. \"Timelessness\" we are all in a tube from birth to death, and every time we come across a fork in our life, there\'s a new tube that is created, so if we split and go in both tubes till we come across another fork in life.
All the tubes formed during our life time finally converge into one single tube, when we die -which again is a transition tube to another life cycle.

Might sound a little obtuse, but think about it, it just might make a lot of sense later on in life.

Hi Priya.

Consider the following: If one puts ten balls numbered 1 to 10 in a bag & then tries to pull them out randomly, notes the number, puts the ball back, what are the chances that the balls were picked in serial order? The probability of that happening is perhaps one in TEN BILLION.

Consider the Earth, how fast it\'s moving around the sun? Despite it being so fast, we the inhabitants don\'t even feel it, while on the other hand if you sit in a cat driving at 40KMPH, don\'t you feel it? Consider the ecosystem, the plains, the mountains? What are they supposed to represent?

To me, those are the signs of God who created those things & programmed them to run through their course. He, and only He, is the Creator, Sustainer & Destroyer of this all.

If we look around ourselves, is there justice & equality among the people? The answer to this is an obvious NO. So can you believe in a pathetic God who doesn\'t even care about His subjects? A God allowing unaccountable superiority to some people while subjecting others to torment? This is definitely not the concept of God in any religion. RIght?

Life after death???

I think one who attempts to commit suicide will become a ghost. One who dies naturally will be judged by god according to his/her deeds.(Heaven/Hell). When we are asleep, we feel darkness at first and then some dreams. Likewise firstly when we die we will feel darkness. After that for some time, when we are born again, we feel light. Otherwise, we will be in the darkness itself.

The concept of Destiny is alien to us. The roots of the word trace back to Persia. Accordint to Indian Scriptures, each of us are born with some Karma and we live to unwind our karma . So the process of the life and death cycles continues until we reach the Source.

Life after death???

Hello all. I agree that all of us may have different opinion, and it is really good that this forum offers us all an opportunity to exhange our views. In my opinion, we all are created to Worship One God and we get only one chance to do it. So we should try to sieze this opportunity to come closer to truth & follow the right path within the allocated time that we have here. As to how much time is allocated to each one of us, no one knows about that except our Lord. This is just like an examination, but one without supplementary or improvement examinations to follow. We\'d be judged based on our deeds (good or bad) in this life & we\'d be given an appropriate recompense (heaven or hell).
