VVS Laxman is out and BCCI has rejected a request for a replacement. Guess it's Parthiv Patel now. But the good news is (I am not supposed to say that) Murali is out because his granpa expired (May his soul rest in peace). Sangakkara is out with fever and vaas is supposed to be rested. So goodluck for the indian team. Go get'em tigers .... or whatever you are.



BTW I had watched the indo-pak match with some pakis (i was desperate) and saala izzat nikalgayi meri. Agle match mein SL ko harake pakistani haraamonki maa-behen karde sheron. :D

we do not have many batsmen as of now ....even on the bench. so i guess sehwag will play. who knows he might just click. i really want rahul dravid to do well.



muralitharan is not playing this game so i guess india has a slight advantage in the bowling department. but we really need to improve in the fielding dept.



its time Team India did well and not just the individuals.

and they did it!!! that day even i had to suffer the embarassment of travelling in a cab (paki driver) when the radio commentary was going on.. :?



but no more worries, india will crush lanka in the finals. all we need is an allrounder like Powar or Gavaskar to fit into the 7th batsmans slot (in lieu of laxman)

Not really.... Baaja to apna baja. Luck se jeet gaye. :)

Murlitharan nahin tha and Vaas was resting. We were really lucky that Jayasurya played a very bad shot and got caught.

But the finals will speak for itself. Lets see how they do in the finals.
