sorry i forgot to mention the besat umpires name....simon tauffel....he is really he best

and he is only in his midd 30's so i think he will umpire atleast 500 odis and 150 tests.....le's see :roll:

Yeah stamps with players on it ASHES are home and evn the govt is reactin to it.... I wish I cld buy a few of those stamps.....

I don't think Dravid is captain material. Although he is the senior-most player at this point, I think it'd be good to toy around a little and see what the young guns might do as captain coz after the 2007 WC, there is very little of the old team gonna b left, so they better start plannin ahead. Jest my opinion.

I accept to what you say... but looking back as how the board had selected Captains, Dravid is the only senior player in the team...the best to my choice is VVS Laki (he lead the Southzone Ranji team)...but he has no significant performances in the recent past........

what i had thot happened! that so called compromise between ganguly n chappel was just part of a face saving ploy for ganguly. i am sure the so called "tennis elbow" is also fake so that ganguly can be eased out without any embarrassment to him...

if they were so concerned abt the team etc, why did they completely exonerate ganguly of all of chappel's allegations? soon after that meeting and press release, saurav announced out of the blue that he has tennis elbow and very soon aftre that dravid was the captain...daal mein kuch kaala hai...i strongly feel saurav was given a honorable discharge b4 he became an object of derision and is laffed off the field (like what hapnd to kapil dev).

I think the Indian selectors made the right start to the 2007 WC preparations. Ganguly had finally been told that he wont be in the team if he does not perform.... he will definitely be back in the team if he does well in domestic cricket. ( I hope he does strike some form). I think Dravid should lead India in the 2007 WC.

We have rarely seen Rahul Dravid's attacking I hope we will from now atleast in his captaincy style. Knowing him he will be kind of Stephen Fleming material as a captain who will make the most of his resources....

Ganguly I thik will be given the chance to lead India in the upcoming test series against Sri Lanka.... If he does not perform well it shall be the end of the road for him as a captain....

"Bunch of Jokers" are being serious these days they are making sensible decisions and being bold ( Laxman and Zaheer dropped) although it is debatable. But we need to try somthing new....

"Today is the Best Day and Now is the Best Time" seems to be the selectors mantra.... gud goin....

Hey ppl,

I am back. Real sick were these last 6 months with no cricket. I am back and hope will make a mark pretty soon. Heard quite a lot of talk about my fitness and form , I ll talk with my bat dont worry.

Coming to the lankan series its gonna be a closely fought series especially because of the fact that these are pretty much home conditions for both the teams and spin is going to be a major factor in winning games.

Keys in Batting - Viru,Yours Truly,Sanath,Mahela

Keys in Bowling - Irfan,Singh,Vaas,Murali

Fielding's gonna play a big role and the better team on the filed will def have the upper hand. Dhoni and Kumar will also have a big role in the series.
