alternatively u can do a ssh export display

and export alsa

then u can do almost anything

Got this nifty Firefox Extension today:

phpBB User Hide - Firefox Extension

Hides/unhides a user's posts in phpBB forums. Also known as an ignore list. Based on a greasemonkey script, but this file is standalone. It should work on virtually every phpBB install, and adds a little [X] in front of every user's username. Click that, and the user will be added to your ignore list. All posts by that user will be hidden, with a link to show them.

NEW For this version: Now works with quotes! Thanks a lot to unarmed for providing a timely update of the greasemonkey script

There are two ways HH saar,

One can use Image editors like MSPaint or Irfanview to resize the image to permissible/viewable/comfortable sizes.



Another way is to upload the image onto Free Image Hosting sites like Imageshack or Photobucket and then post the IMG link that they provide.

Imageshack automatically provides a Thumbnail for the image you upload,so one can post that here.

eg:





But in both the above cases,the image in question has to be downloaded onto one's machine.But most of your posts have pix that are directly 'hotlinked' from the main source itself,so you'll have to take that bit effort to save that image,upload it to Imageshack,then post its thumbnails.....

The new Yahoo! Mail Beta's new features include an offline mail client-like interface, tabbed windows (no pop-ups), cascaded menus and toolbars.





This is the login screen:

The default interface after you logged in:



Click on an e-mail and there, you can preview it, well what's what a mail reader supposed to do right?



Double-click on it, there, it's opened in a new tab!



Notice this little button? A click on it...



... opens the mail in a new seperate window! Amazing... Another click puts it back as a tab again:



This is what the compose screen looks like, and yep Oddpost lovers, the Subject-O-Matique's still there and got alot more new e-mail ideas for you this time!

Oh no! Instead of send I accidentally clicked on the close tab button!



Drag-and-drop, but looks like Yahoo! don't want me to put my e-mail back into my Inbox...

But thinking that General Public License is applicable to paid software is just unforgivable!

What's wrong about that? GPL doesn't say anything about not selling software. You can sell it along with the code and let the buyers modify/distribute it.

Okay guys I need some serious help...

I subscribed to beam cable here in J.Hills with an "upto 512Kbps" connection.I use azureus for downloading and the speed was exellent for couple of days.I downloaded about 7 GB in 2 days,and since the third day whenever I start azureus,my connection gets screwed,it takes 2-3 minutes to load Yahoo home page itself compared to the 10 sec loading before I start azureus.Oh and the download speed in azureus is pathetic compared to the speed I got just 3 days ago.I used to get speeds over 10kbps for each download.Now the transfer rate is in bytes.Its the same problem if I download from any site.



So do you think beam cable guys did it?If so are there any ways to rectify it?

I think its got more to do with the azerius thingy...does it download data even when u r not using it?i downloaded a s/w called limewire for the same purpose...even whn not in use not only does it use up lot of my pc processing time but also uses the internet...fir wht i dunno...so i now close it thru the task mgr...try doing it and see wht happens

Azureus on Linux is very good. My favourite pastime in Chicago was sitting in Loyola University in the lobby or library with my notebook and download gigs. I heard that the Windows version of Azureus sucks. If you are using Windows, BitComet is very good. Be generous and allow people to upload as you download. Nowadays, most of the BitTorrent clients are auto-configured to make your download speed directly proportional to upload speed, so if you are a leecher, your download speed will be pathetic!

Bit Commet???I uninstalled Azureus and installed BitTornado,the download speed sucks but atleast other programs are running properly.

BitTornado gives more preference to uploads than downloads Throw it away.
