ASHES - 2005

by ASHES - 2005 » Thu Aug 18, 2005 8:48 pm

All said and done....

At the start of the series it was 2-1 Aus

After Lords it was 3-1 Aus

After Edgbaston 2-2

After Old Trafford 2-1 Eng

Well these are not my predictions !!!! Predictions by the bookies and the ppl world over at diff stages of the ASHES - 2005

Wat do u guys feel after Old Trafford????

Do the ENGLISHMEN still hav some Gas left in their tanks or have they peaked too early???? One thing I can say is English rite now are overworked I think Freddie and Harmy are not in their best shape after so much work this summer.... Hope they have anther 80 odd ovrs left in their tanks....

Go ENG gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo the door is open upto you to run and grab the ashes...............

I never liked Austraila cuz they were champions. I like 'em for the reason I think they are a well disciplined and an organized team. If we take for instance the last test against England which was drawn, I dont think no other team cud have ever performed tat well in such crisis. It was a sensible batting by the lower order, keeping their cool and playing with a +ve attitude.

ze english men have certainly given the aussies a tough fight. But they shd. have won the last game, it would have sealed the fate of the aussies and their moral wld. have touched rock bottom. But now the aussies have got a new lease of life...how they use it will b interesting to see. I expect them to do well in the next gaem.

When does it begin, btw

i agree with talking ( )

we just critisize players most of the times. being an arm chair critic is easy...and its easy to forget that out in the field, none of our 'suggestions' would work...just plain talent and luck.
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings

we follow the game religiously and therefore have the right to give vent to our anger/happiness over a teams performance. its the people with the micro phones and pens in their hands who do all the criticisizing as if they were the masters of the game. :D

U guys hav tremendous faith in the aussies!!!!

I dont think evn the aussie supporters wld be so confident abt their team as are the ppl on FHDB's....

I still think english hav the upper hand and they wld be fresh after a week's break aussies played a cpla tour matches so they dint get the much needed break after 2 tight test matches....

Go freddie goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo along wit u r mate harmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Me Too.I Suppose the match would be a Close Affair with the pendulum keepin' on Swinging Either Way.But the tEam Which Siezes the initiative the earliest will go on to Win,I Think.

And all the talk about England Taking More outta the last match than Australia is pure Hogwash.Maybe they're too Demoralised to even talk about it.
