Should have been Swadesh - lot of people read it incorrectly...

Very different kinda movie. I enjoyed it.

How many of you have seen it? And what do ya think?

I have seen it. I liked it too.

Not many ppl. would dare make such a movie. Its the bad opening it got that makes ppl. say its a flop.

But the fact is that a movies worth cannot b judged only on the basis of its box office performance. Its 10 times better than hit movies like murder and dhoom.

I agree with u 100%. For these kind of movies, there shouldn't be anything like good or bad. It's just different.

The director presented his own viewpoint and it's beautifully done (as far as the reviews I had read) As akhil says, this movie is more than 10 times better than the other movies whose story backdrop is 'flesh flash'

Dunno.....Reading all the negative reviews put me off....and also i don't

like seeing Shah Rukh's Social Movies..... :twisted:

actors and artistes apart - i personally feel that it's a good theme and music is good too - including the lyrics.

Yeah...Rahman Saab's music is always good irrespective of the

movies.....I esp. Like Yunhi Chala Chal n Yeh jo Des hai tera....

especially Ye Jo Des Hai Tera - man he is amazing. he himself sung it as well. The kind of emotions and feelings he puts in is simply amazing.

I have been listening to this song more than any other one of late. Melodious and meaningful lyrics as well.

ppl who dnt like srk doin da same old roles should probably watch this one..?!

All the songz r situational..frm em I mostly liked 2 songz..- yuhi chala chal.. (which waz edited in da cd!!

).. n da other one.. yeh jo des hai ..

I watched the movie twice....neither do I like SRK.. I watched the movie for Ashutosh Gowirkar whoz earlier Oscar nominated movie "Laagan" draged me to do so. Me watched the pirated one too

. The damn reviews fooled me. It was only one show here and I missed that cuz of the review. Indiafm rated musafir 4/5 and Swadesh 1/5 :shock:

The climax was kinda awkward cuz it shows him return to the motherland for the girl n kaveri amma but not for the development of the suppressed ppl in the villages, wherein he actually was moved by their poverty sticken lives. Any how the bottom line is its "wonderful movie".

I missed something important prolly. I understand what u said, but he dreams about the gurl n kaveri amma when he return tho US. So thats wat made me feel as what i said. I mite be wrong.

They do play a role in bringing him back to India. But thats not the only resaon for him to come back.
