Roller Skating

Hi,



Does anybody know if there are roller skating classes happening in the premises of KBR park? I think I saw some kids praticing there a few months back but now when I am keen on it nobody seems to be around!



Any idea where the skaters are?

hey Vinnie...i dont think there r roller skating classes near KBR...maybe some kids were trying their skates out, by themselves.



u cud try Jubilee Hills Gymkhana (on the road from Jubilee hills Check Post to KBR gate) for some info.

:cry: Just called the Gymkhana ppl and they say they have nothing to do with any kind of skating :cry:

Ek baar seekh lun fir zaroor aaungi apki terrace pe practice ke liya .. coz if I try skating in my building I'll be starting from my flat and skating into my neighbour's flat...not that I mind :lol:

Hi everybody,



Finally got the required info. Here's wat I know in case someday somebody else is interested in it.



There are NO classes happening in KBR park right now. However, classes at LB stadium happen regularly. There are 2 sets of ppl coaching there ..one is the trainer who helps ppl out with skating at runway9 and the other I think is from the SAAP roller skating camp.

hey vinita .. you into roller Skating or Blading ??? ... i used to skate long back .... couple of years back graduated to blading

Wow! hope I will be able to do that too someday. Skating yar...blading ke liye to abhi dilli bahut door hai.

Blading requires frozen ice surface i suppose...

not really .. i think you are referring to ice skating/blading ... the difference between roller skating & blading is just the way the skates / blades are designed...in blading the wheels are in a single row ... check out http://www.rollerblade.com for roller blade designs :)

yes....i was imagining ice-blading....roller blading...i understand what u mean now.....i have seen kids do that on necklace road early mornings

^^^ .. I can tell you blading is a lot more fun vis-a-vis skating and is more popular in west ... in US hardly anyone skates now
