My Music

by Habitual Perfectionist » Wed May 05, 2004 9:42 pm

Hi Folks,

My music collection may be viewed here

At the moment, I've kept only the rock component of it. Other genres I have on MP3 are percussion, fusion, hindi film music, ghazals, funny audios (parodies, prank calls etc.). Any other music enthusiasts who might want to share music of the other genre may let me know and I'll post the list for it.[/url]

Percussion...not much...just a few assorted numbers by Trilok Gurtu & Safri Duo.

Fusion....Mudra & Sky Kisses Earth by Prem Joshua; Nothing but Wind by Illaiyaraja & Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, few works of Shakti (L. Subramanyam, Zakir Hussain & John McLoughlin)

Funny Audios - A host of Kerpal prank calls & a few parodies of pop hits by Wierd Al Yankovic.

I'm still building up my collection in these genres. Will keep you updated.

L Shankar, not his bro L Subramanian. Shankar's style is very emotive n melodious, wheareas his bro's is more jazzy n fast paced. Each is good in his own way.

L Shankar added another string to the violin to add extra expression to his playing...then he's also the baap of the double neck(?) violin...

a couple of my friends saw him play at Kakatiya a year ago and they were sowering praises like crazy...

he's a SMALL preview of muah playlist...

immortal,dimmu borgir,mayhem,emperor,bathory,dark funeral,demilich,deinonychus,behemoth,my dying bride,satyricon, saturnus,mourning beloveth,paradise lost,trouble,marduk,amorphis,hypocrisy,borknagar,OPETH-their next album is rumoured to be black metal...

cynic,atheist,ephel duath,morbid angel,death,vader,cryptopsy,immolation,suffocation,cannibal corpse,pungent stench,nile,naphast,dark army,deicide,children of bodom,in flames(yuck),slayer,exodus,testament(hell yeah!)...and the list goes on and on...

satriani,steve vai,james murphy(Convergence & feeding the machine),eric johnson,paco de lucia,al di maeola, mahavishnu orchestra,

stevie ray vaughn, buddy guy, johna mayall and the blues breakers...
I ran into my ex-girlfriend the other day... I backed up and ran into her again... I miss her sometimes...

Hey HP,

Thats a pretty impressive list youve got there. How about Linkin Park? Limp Biskit, Hoobastank and Nickleback are really good too.

Do you have those bands songs also?

Peace out.
