If it is ok to sing someone\'s praises remember that it is ok to critisize the same chap.
Agreed, the man is doing good work for the poor, but he should not portray himself as divinity and do some well practised tricks that any street magicians can do.
If he is really god let him wave his hand generate food for the nation\'s poor, not expensive stuff like watches and jewellery that obvoiusly have been made in a factory elsewhere.
Lots of other great people in India have selflessly served the poor but have never portrayed themselves as next to god.
All talk about his free hospital as a proof of how he uses his wealth. but his hospital (as most of his \"ashram\") was constructed and equipped free of cost by charitable believers and doctors who volunteer there, work for free. all the ashram work like cleaning, cooking etc is done by volunteers for free. so in what way does he spend his wealth? have the ashrams accounts been audited? does he declare his income? does he pay tax?
The easiest ways of getting rich quick in India is to either become a politician or a godman. i think being a godman is a better option since most people would not dare to critisize him....and politicians fall at his feet!
Here i must state that i believe in God, but i dont let my rationality and emotions get swayed by my religious beliefs, either via politicians or godmen. if you are really religious and have true faith in God, you need not depend on such godmen for support.
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings
