Is Satya Sai Baba really God?

by tipu » Wed Nov 19, 2003 8:44 pm

Hi,Hus lil---,U misunderstood, infact We tell that the GOD(ALLAH)is the God for all,and the main difference between Christians, muslims and Jews is only that ,Jews donot accept Jesus as prophet,Christians donot Accept MOhammed(sas) as prophet and Muslims accept both Moses and Jesus to be their prophet,as Quran tells about them.So if they accept Mohammed(sas) as prophet then there is no difference

He is not \"asking ppl to worship him\". Its a question of faith. I went to Puttaparthi a month ago, for the first time. I interacted with devotees from Iran, the US, Japan and Australia. The faith that they have in Baba is amazing. I couldn\'t quite understand it. All I know is that Satya Sai Baba is going a lot of good to humanity. In a country plagued by problems, he\'s a beacon of hope to many. Controversies will persist. Pray, how long does it take to start one?
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are right.

We are all creation of some X power, which we call as GOD. Baba is also creation of GOD. Did God leave witness of his proof yes. The whole cycle of universe is his witness Some people ask if God is there why there is so much crime, why sickness. God & God creation is also not 100% perfect. He has left some means to get out of those too. Its our duty to find out the way out of it. Since we are creation of God too. Lets say some one with stinking body walking on the street, Should we blame him/odor /the soapThe soap is there, this guy has to go and use it. God is also there. Just saying thank you (offering prayers ) a gratitude to God.

Well, I don\'t want to get into useless discussion on whether SatyaSai is god or not...It\'s individual perception.
But whoever he is, he is helping the poor by providing number of services free of cost...

Us Indians are very grateful to people who do good to us and we treat then as Gods.that has been in our tradition and culture.so just discrediting someone without having the facts is as good as profanity.we worship Rama as a God.can u justify that?NO.what I am trying to say is we dont have the right nor the worth to evaluate great people.try to follow their foot steps instead of having silly discussions.
If I am the future, we are history.

Sai Baba is not a God, he is equipped with the knowledge and power to guide us to experience the God.He is like a guide , not a God.God is only one and we can reach him a little bit easily through these guides.Baba spreads the spiritual knowledge and makes people realize that they have to come into the path of Moksha , attain God\\\'s grace.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba stresses the concept of unity of faith and insists that Saicenters do the same. Stating that he is not seeking to direct people toward any particular religious belief, Sai Baba encourages individuals to \"continue worshipping along lines already familiar to you.\"

Dear friends I am a doctor. He has got immense knowledge of every science-biology,physics,chemistry,medicine astronomy and the list goes on though he attended school till 7 years of age.Sckeptics outside India always tried to analyse what he is and some of them finally surrendered to him.there have been instances where he was found at two different places one in australia, one in france while he is in puttaparthi. he knows all the languages what all we ever heard.i can confidently say that these are beyond human capabilities.in my personal experience i heard him explain about cardio pulmonary bypass and anaesthesia for that surgery. Finally i would like to say that God always came in human form-krishna,rama,christand so on.The people who realised the divine during his presence are infact lucky for themselves. There are always a larger group who fail to recognise.

Hey Johnny,
Why can\'t god take the form of man? Its your perception, right! Its not written anywhere no rules nothing. It may be your opinion but then its got nothing to support it. Its your perception that its not possible. Again that counts for nothing. Because no one knows. The same way that I cannot argue that god can take the form of man, you to cannot substantiate your point. So as you quote.PEACE OUT!!
cheers

Is Satya Sai Baba really God?

by SK » Wed Nov 26, 2003 11:57 pm

neerajaji, In fact i will do agree with you. but i will one small story. One day Lord Sriram and his bothers are in a gurukul. Lord sriram was performing some items and giving it to every one. that time everyone know that he is vishnu\\\'s incarnation. Then his guru told Lord sriram, Oh merciful lord please dont create food and these kind of items. if you perform this they will become lazy and also please act like human and perform all those duties. Lord agreed for that. That was different story.
If Satya sai makes the world rich and nobody will work in the world. I do agree his living style is completly different than a normal saint. But doing service to human will be treated as divinty. Even if you do the same(you need not give the money) but donate your time then you will be GOD. But if he is a god we will ask him to shower nice rain fall and help ever one will get food ,clothes and shelter. That is enough to become the richest country in the world. Well i have to say one thing we have to get our time then only we will agree he is GOD or not. Hope we will get our turn soon GOD bless we all

If it is ok to sing someone\'s praises remember that it is ok to critisize the same chap.
Agreed, the man is doing good work for the poor, but he should not portray himself as divinity and do some well practised tricks that any street magicians can do.
If he is really god let him wave his hand generate food for the nation\'s poor, not expensive stuff like watches and jewellery that obvoiusly have been made in a factory elsewhere.
Lots of other great people in India have selflessly served the poor but have never portrayed themselves as next to god.
All talk about his free hospital as a proof of how he uses his wealth. but his hospital (as most of his \"ashram\") was constructed and equipped free of cost by charitable believers and doctors who volunteer there, work for free. all the ashram work like cleaning, cooking etc is done by volunteers for free. so in what way does he spend his wealth? have the ashrams accounts been audited? does he declare his income? does he pay tax?
The easiest ways of getting rich quick in India is to either become a politician or a godman. i think being a godman is a better option since most people would not dare to critisize him....and politicians fall at his feet!
Here i must state that i believe in God, but i dont let my rationality and emotions get swayed by my religious beliefs, either via politicians or godmen. if you are really religious and have true faith in God, you need not depend on such godmen for support.
wtf? i no longer care if my posts hurt yr feelings
Love me or hate me, u cant ignore me :D

Is Satya Sai Baba really God?

by sunny » Mon Dec 15, 2003 9:37 am

Hi I did my schooling in Puttaparthi , Swami’s school. I am very delighted to say that it is a different world out there. The fundamental pillar that supports the entire educational scenario is ‘discipline’ which, by the way, is not found in most of the present day schools. All the work he has done transcends the question as to whether he is God or not. So asking it only leads to absurdity. Anil said that the rich are unprompted in dumping their money into ‘hundis’. While that is true, there is one difference regarding Sai Baba. His work is physically visible. All the ‘gay- controversy’ that India Today brought out is media gimmick.
