Dreamboy Bhai...Tagore is a remake of a Tamil film and copies cannot be sent for oscars. I have seen both and felt that the tamil version was more superior in content and flow.
<br>i dont know why telugu producers insist on colorfully clothed actors cavorting in Europe bang in the middle of a gritty and socially relevant drama. maybe its the taste of the majority of the viewers....of which thankfully i am not a part.
<br>chiranjeevi is a good actor but he should remember that his heroines (like those in Tagore) look they could be his daughters. this is not just his problem, but most of our heroes.
<br>the only senior hero who looks good with any young heroine is Nagarjuna...and thats coz of the way he maintained his fitness.

hey..\"N.T.I.I.M\" bhai...u seem to be a typical film fan who can do without duets in exotic locales in a film about, say, slum-dwellers.
<br>the Telugu film producers make movies keeping guys like you in mind...cant really blame them....can you??!!
<br>I enjoyed the tamil version (inspite of its share of flaws)coz it stuck to the story, was realistic in most aspects esp fights...it told the story the way its suppossed to be told.
<br>A cracker of a theme like Tagore with a good actor like Chiru should have been more realistic...then we can think of awards...i mean the ones awarded outside Swarnandhra Pradesh.
<br>If a person like Ramgopal Varma had made Tagore it would have been lifted to another level...above the original.
<br>tho i am not fluent in tamil i prefer to watch the good tamil originals to the masala-fied telugu remakes that would make me weep(there are exceptions of corz...).
<br>makes me wish for the good old days where tamil films were more dubbed in telugu than remade (excusing the unsynced lip movements!)
