Tendulkar vs Waugh

Hi friends, I suppose this board will not look better for some people after reading this. U must know that both sachin and waugh are greats in their game who lifted the game to immortal heights. But off-field where do u put them? As far as i am concerned,and with the present situation,Tendulkar stands way below waugh on humanitarian grounds. Where waugh is busy in inducing smiles into the less-blessed children of UDAYAN ,we see sachin meandering around to accept one of those innumerable who-cares awards and spicing up his restaurant chain TENDULKAR\\\'S.And now he is busy in creating his own sports gear .GAWD!gimme a break.Agreed,that sachin puts smiles on millions of Indians when he is playing,but don\\\'t u think that putting a smile on an innocent child orphan\\\'s face is much greater act of humanism. We non-orphans are bound to smile today or tomorrow,but who puts a smile on THEIR faces. And most notable is the fact that steve waugh pledged his after retirement-life in full-fledged work on UDAYAN.Whereas,I doubt sachin will do an inkling of that. Friends,I am not here to deprecate Sachin.I am a great fan of his,hence don\\\'t want him to lag behind waugh on any sport.(on or off the field). Don\\\'t u think that it is time for sachin to do some meaningful work?

Do u think social work is the one where u do a good cause for otehrs , and not when u don\'t want ur name to be publisied ... for ur information , SACHIN has done many social-works , but always asked the organiser to keep it a private issue ... may be u don\'t know abt that , u can see that in many articles on him , especially during his 30th birthday week , in a website , there were many articles dedicated to him, in which they mentioned , that sachin always asked them to keep out of media !!!
