National Games

Its a really good thing, that its happening in Hyderabad...I am looking forward to going for national games. The Govt. has done a great job, massive stadias are built they look really wonderful...but the logo of the national games 2002 sucks a bit...Comments plz.

I guess I will play the \"devil\'s advocate\" all the time. Did we really need these games? I ask this because of the negative economic impact it has on our state, and national economy, at large. There is nothing wrong in hosting or conducting games. They should be able to eke out a profit though and add value to the revenue stream that will eventually translate into economic benefits to our population. Games should help grow the economy, not put a dent in it. I would love to watch games too. Just show me the benefit. And I know that everything need not have a benefit. But let people pay for the benefit they want to have ... not the farmer in say Peddapuram (is there a place like that?) indirectly pays for subsidizing an entertainment trip of a Nike-walking, Rayban-watching rich lad from Banjara Hills. Just my two cents ....

I read this in one of the local papers.....Someone said that \"Veera\" looked like the logo of a dairy farm..lol...Not far from the truth and hey RP as long as there are blokes like u, our country is safe!.....No offence meant.
