vermiculite

i know i've posted this question elsewhere, but i'm getting desperate and still no vermiculite.

I've looked in Hyderguda (they usually stock it but they're out and in true Hyderabadi fashion have no idea where they usually get it from or when it'll be in again)

I've looked in god knows how many nurseries with no luck.

I've looked online with no results.

My only lead is the public gardens in Nampally (where is this and how do i get there??), i'm told they may have it.

It's a Hydroponic medium, it's used for growing roses and lots of other stuff, i find it hard to believe there's none in Hyderabad (1 guy suggested i go to Bangalore to get it!)

Any ideas guys?

Alright.....Do you know LB Stadium?Babu Khan Estate?Ravindra Bharati?Assembly?Indian Airlines Head Office?Birla Mandir?Well Public Gardens is situated near those above places.And they must be having it in Public Gardens,me and my mom went there for some seeds/plants there and we found many obscure ones.

are u sure u are growing garden plants mark?

anwyay, to get to the public gardens nursery, Do u know where the State assembly is? Alright, as u pass from Ravindra Bharati towards abids, take a Uey at All India Radio and immediately get into the first gate to the left after the turn (the gate preceeding the assembly entrance) well, after a coupple of hundred yards, u ll have to look to ur left, or ask for directions, its just there, in public gardens.

Wow you know the PC Office's? :shock:

Anyway yeah its little bit near that.You need to go towards Lakadikaphool and you can see it towards your right(Coming from the PC's Office).

This is how i get to Public gardens ...nizam club..or anywhere in basheebagh

Tell autowalla

"Control Room Basheerbagh!!"

then when u see the assembly tell the guy

"Bagh-e-Aam/Public gardens ko jana hain"

DAMN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A MAP.

The damn thing ommited all the spaces.Anyway thats the best I could do,it was supposed to be a proper map from PC's Office to Public Gardens.

yeah i know the PC's office, as a dirty fireng i had to register there within 2 weeks of landing here.

thanks for the directions, i know where it is now. that diagram was supremely impressive, and utterly meaningless to me, but thanks for putting in the effort man.

public garden is very close to basheer bagh...

u've seen the stadium there i suppose...? basheerbagh is on one side of the stadium....and Public Gardens on the other...its on the road to Hyderabad Railway Station (Nampally). anyone wud be able to direct u towards it.

Public Gardens also has the AP State Assembly building in a corner...u might have seen it.

Park ur bike at the Police Control Room, and take a cab from there, if u aint wanna spend for the cab fare, all the way from kondapur!

call up 2444-444 and ask them if they know of any place that sells Vermiculite.

no harm trying it out, u may just get lucky there mite! so yea, give that a try...

in case u dunno what this 2444-444, its a directory service kinda, where they will also tell u names of places for certain products...
