Chaltha hain nahin chalega!

Hello friends! The other day when I went to Abids, one of the busy centres of our city, I was amazed to see an auto parked in the non-parking zone! When I questioned him, the answer I got was, \"Chaltha hain amma... sab kuch chaltha hain!\" I was bewildered by his answer. When will the citizens abide by the rules they are supposed to?

The least we can do is to verbally shake them up and we should also respect the laws. This attitude has to change, the sooner the better.

Hi Priya!! Pls don\'t harrass the poor auto walas, they\'ll (threaten to) jump from a tower or something!! And then they\'ll go on a hunger-strike and auto-bandh and stuff like that, you know??!!

well! this shows the mindset currently that most of the people are in. you see that many people like their interests fulfilled any how. what may the result be. be it inconvenince caused to people by this autowallah or it may be any one from us! today we people are getting so self-centered and indisciplined that we do not even prefer to care for others. this attitude must change. the sooner we realise it, the better it is for us.

Siddartha, u r right. Here we have lots of educated who wantonly disobey law and traffic rules. When the Traffic Police is around they behave, and when no one around they flout the law. Recently I was passing thru Gaganmahal Rd#7 (recently made one way from NTR Stadium), and at the junction of the main Gaganmahal Road, one scooterist was trying to enter this lane from the wrong direction. And when I told him that he is trying to enter this road from the wrong side, he brushed me off muttering galis!! If you have this type of citizens you can only pray God.

it doesn\'t happen in other countries like uk etc b/c you are killed if you go in wrong direction.still happens once or twice every month under the influence of etoh/ice/meth etc. or sheer suresh(hyderabadi)

It\'s better in Hyd - if you go and have a look at other cities you will get more violations of rules. Truly, Hyderabad rikshawalas are more friendly than those in other cities - go to Chennai, Mumbai or even B\'lore, and they will looot you like anything even if you know the city well.

Corruption is like advance stage desease, it cannot be cure.
