Last tome i saw him he was majorly sloshed... He was trying to jump off the flyover opposite Yatri Nivas... AR, Az and I persuaded him to change his mind... and when he got off the edge, we put him in a straight jacket...
I ran into my ex-girlfriend the other day... I backed up and ran into her again... I miss her sometimes...

Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

The band lacked coordination big time. The drummer was bad. He couldnt even play a straight beat for 10 seconds. He also had a double pedal. Why have a double pedal when you cant play on it? The guitarists are just about ok... and im being nice here. Originals arent recieved well in Hyderabad. But if a band's originals are good then everybody shuts the _ up to listen. Sadly, Microtone's original was faggoty. Thats what happens when two wannabe guitarists cram their 'progressive' influnces in a badly composed song. The bassie and the singer did a good job(Yo Tabz... the bush cover was good!) and I'm saying this just cuz they happen to be my friends.

I am in no way a critic. I only stated the obvious. But I do mean it... you did a good job on the Bush track.

My 2 cents

by Music Lover HP » Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:07 pm

First of all, congratulations on your first performance. And yeah....shit happens. Learn from it and move on. Adding to what BW said (though I can't be as technical as him in terms of music), a couple of things that I feel you guys need to work on is focus and crowd control.

The gig was advertised as an alternative music show but was way off the mark. It was a mishmash of every sub-genre ranging from grunge to metal. This mainly happened due to a loss of crowd control due to overenthusiasm in playing to the galleries. You guys need to plan the concert well. This gig kind of turned out into a request show instead.

But as I said, shit happens. Whats important is that you guys could go up and perform. Thats what matters the most.

As a sidenote, the TV9 guys were really funny. The interviewer would go into the crowd, call out someone and interview him/her near the entrance, right next to where we were. I would love to know what transpired in the interviews as the folks being interviewed were dishing out essay type answers to the interviewer and the whole thing was funny to say the least. Did anyone catch the TV9 coverage of this show?

hey thankz for the feedback dude.but did u say 'metal'?

of what i know(and i know well cuz i was singing :D ) that there wasnt a single 'metal' song put in there.

Point noted bout the crowd control but we cant help it if u have ppl comin to a gig which is advertised as a 'alternate/grunge'* gig and ppl ask for sepultura, megadeth and linkin park.(or for that matter bombay rockers and backstreet boys)

* we did grunge covers cuz we are influenced by the music.and it WAS advertised by us. :)

but as u said we can only go up from here so we will!

thankz for the advice dude.!

the reason u puttin so much in to show us were we went wrong, itself shows that u liked us,and want us to get better.next gig, much better, promise :)
