People, music fans, and other animals,
 Indian Ocean\'s coming to Hyderabad in January, with their incredible brand of fusion! In association with the Society to Save Rocks, they\'re coming to our city to rock the place!!

Spread the good news people. Hyderabad is finally starting to take off!

In case people need any more information on the band, they can always check out http://www.indianoceanmusic.com They\'re brand of fusion combines folk, soft rock and lyrics in languages as far removed as Bhojpuri and Aramaic

If you haven\'t heard Indian Ocean before, this is your chance. No Head-banging here, just soft melodies with a very \'desi\' feel. Any more info required? Reply, and I\'ll be gald to oblige

hey this is wild! its about time hyderabad started getting some good bands down. indian ocean is hot in pune, bombay, delhi, so hyderabad is getting some classy acts at last! details required!!

The venue is either going to be the Secret Lake (near the Ambedkar Univ) or in Shilparamam Crafts Village. It\'s not been finalised yet. Also, the date has tentatively been set for the 11th of Jan.

I am glad that IO is performing in Hyd. A bunch of us brought them down last year to NYC and what a hit they were with desis here who were swept off their feet. IO got gigs in clubs in the city just like that, what with so many other good bands waiting in line forever. IO rocks!

I will actually be visiting Hyd during that time, so yes, I will definitely be ther. Also, Rahul Ram of IO and I went to grad school together, so all the more reason to hang out with them. No, truly, they are a very gifted band, always experimenting with new words and sounds that speak of progressive politics - one of a kind folk rock bands from India.

Wow, you know Rahul Ram? Good fun. He\'s a really nice guy, from whatever little I\'ve spoken to him about. This concert\'s going to be great man! The ambience is incredible at the lake, and the sound\'s going to be amazing too. I\'m glad these guys\'re coming to Hyderabad.

Okay peoples, here's the deal:

Indian Ocean is happening on the 11th of Jan (Sunday) at the Secret Lake next to the Ambedkar Univ. from 5:30 pm onwards. (Just for reference, this is the same place where 10D had their new year's bash)

Donor passes are available at Cafe Coffee Day, Music World, Fabindia, AA Hussain and Akshara, and are priced at Rs. 100.
