Well i don't really care about the spamming as long as ppl remember what the thread was all about. You're kinda stupid if you really wanna start a new topic within a thread. Ppl see that there was anew reply and think it could be pertaining to the title of the thread. If you all could come out and "spam" the way you do on the boards, there'd be a point.



As for weekends being on Thursday and Friday...we could always ahve a small get together....just give us a call and let us know where you want us to show up. (I won't be able to come coz I got a 21 day back to back schedule this month...but I would defintely try coming down for a while.



Anyone up for meeting maybe saturday nite...post 8.30 or so, let me know....my number is 98854-00907. I think it'd be great to actually keep meeting ppl who post on FHDB.

on a serious note... everything here is taken in a light-hearted manner and i like it that way... just once in while some one realises that there is no logical relation between the posts on the topic (or the post itself is illogical)... and gets pissed off ....but then its not their fault ...everyone is allowed to have opinions



i, like many others come here for 'casual discussion' on topics and non-topics... (just like u come here for making week-end plans ...i guess) .... u can call it spamming (it is spamming) ...and also i do not think whether my post is relevant to the topic of the thread or not...it just too much burden on my brain.... i like to use it for more productive purpose(s)



and abt ppl who come here looking for info....i think the regulars have been kind enuf to guide them (ohk..atleast tried) ..

Well by the looks of it...no one did anything...I think as Indians, to make things happen is to plan it in advance. I know there won't be anyone meeting upwith anyone for Diwali but I feel bad for some of theose who aren't with families and have the chance to celebrate. Why not get together this week? I'm sure y'all could manage geting together this weekend and have a post-diwali bash?

Okay, this weekend will be pretty calm I suppose. On Friday nights we have our regular girls night out, where we go out, shop, have dinner and hang out or watch a movie, on Saturday I am invited to University of North Carolina's Annual NTA Conferece (National Teacher's Assc.) and the afternoon is my brother's golf tournament and Sunday is absolutely nothing.
