The following anecdote may not be relevant, but I think it is cute.



In one of the old Indian kingdoms, the resident comedian fell afoul of the king, and the king ordered that the guy be beheaded. The guy pleaded that his life should be spared since he had many special gifts, and his death would be an immense loss to the kingdom. When the king asked him about the special gifts, he bragged that he could teach the king's horse to talk in one year. The king postponed the execution for an year, and ordered that the comedian should be looked after during the period, and allowed to spend as much time as he needed with

the horse.



The comedian's friends called him a fool for promising the impossible. The comedian's response was, "I bought myself an extra year. Who knows what will happen in a year. I might die; the king might die. God willing, the horse might even talk."

I believe that Mr.MMJ^^ is fighting a tough electoral battle & is very likely to loose. In such a case , his policy (to meddle with IIMs & IITs) may die a natural death. Let us see what happens. Let us hope for the best.
