Out Of Control

yesterday was probably the night i would remember the rest of my life. i was away from death by a few seconds. i was there in a scorpio with my friends and we all were going for a long drive. we were just entering the flyover near paradise when a esteem took a sudden and then a milkvan hit that esteem and it toppled for 3 times and landed just inches before us. i could not believe my eyes. if we were a few seconds early the van would have toppled on the scorpio and then i wouldnt have been writing about this. my mind went blank for a few seconds and then a huge crowd was there everyone telling what should be done. we brought a guy who was on a bike and hit by the van into the scorpio his neck was hurt and there were onlookers who had nothing to do but lot of advises to give. i shouted and asked everyone to move away. thankfully the ambulance came and took that guy to hospital and we were on our way. but the whole situation was were scary. i thought there are things in life on which we have absolutely no control. have you ever faced such a situation and if yes what was ur reaction?

Well, had couple of close calls myself and this was as close as u can get.

Thank god, labelle, u all were not hurt.

Few years back I was travelling on Vijayawada highway and my frnd was driving my car. U might be knowing that there are these route jeeps (They ply passengers) and one such vehicle suddenly decided to stop in the middle of road. We were just behind it and when my frnd tried to avoid it, there was a truck coming at a high speed. So, my frnd waited till last possible second and avoided the jeep with maybe 1-2 inches. It was very very close. Scary shit.

If everyone follows rules on the road, u will not have accidents.

As they say, no matter how good a driver u are, if the person sharing the road is not good, u might still get hit n hurt.

well

thanks to GOD tht u didn't get hurt

even i had an experience like this

which i'll never forget for the rest of my life

and probably which is why i'll never drive on busy roads or highways

we were going to malkajgiri and the road over there is two way and is also very small with a no. of trucks going tht way

one such truck was coming from the opposite side and the idiotic driver didn't care to move even an inch and we had to move into the bushes there

was a close one

damn

would've died had not moved.......

i believe in destiny after this incident

Thank God! May the Lord bless you with a long life. Amen! :)

This happened last year:

Me and my parents were coming back from Secunderabad area, and had just crossed an intersection when a truck coming from the opposite side of the road hit the divider, and started overturning slowly into the path of my car.

I was about two feet away from the truck, and just barely managerd to avoid that truck. It took a lot of ham headed steering, but we escaped.

ahh god.. i have had so many near death experiences (sorry mom, i will not delve into the high speed ones, as you will become wild) hmm.. lets begin with the time after my license aquisition(sp?) i used to weave in and out of lanes on the freeway at felonious speeds, quite often. i mean.. 1.5x or more than the speed limit. anyway, i passed a cop at 110mph.. i didnt even see the dude until i passed him. i freaked out and slowed down to 60. he was on my ass for like the next 2 minutes -_- (longest, most stressful time of my life) i dont think i have the time or enegry to sit and write up all my near deth experiences, so ill document the most recent ones, and the ones that stand out! last summer in india, we went up or down to karimnagar (i have no sense of geography, sorry) and yeahh.. i was napping in the back, mind you, there are no FREAKING SEAT BELTS in the back.. and the geniuses who designed the road put speed bumps.. _ speed bumps on the road.. where ppl average 110kph or so. anyway, my cousin is driving, doesnt see the shit and goes right over. that was a pretty shitty way to be woken up. my head made massive contact with the roof and the friction burned off a patch of the skin on my forehead.

today, i was driving down this 2 lane road at about 45mph.. 10mph over the speed limit and this goddamn _ pulls a let turn from the opposing lane when im about 30 feet away. thank god for ABS.. but i still had to do something.. so i pull a full 180 in my car so that the momentum is deflected by more resistance -_- the cheeky bastard has the nerve to stare me down after. GOD! these people should be put to sleep, if they cant frigging drive. ah ok. im done

Well, never had a near death experience in a vehicle (very safe driver, u see :P). The closest i came to kicking the bucket was when i had my appendix removed. Seems if they had been 5 minutes late, it wud've erupt!
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.
