lizard king wrote:so far 2004 has been a year with the highest amount of spice for me, had a share of everything, to start with the good things, moved to brisbane from Sydney to start my PhD. secondly, almost got married twice with 2 different girls, but luckly escaped, made great friends and met awesome people. travelled a lot, had the best experiences of a life time... swam with sharks, chased the stars, demarked galaxies and what not.
on the bad side, had 2 major break ups, had one of the worst times of my life, had a bad tyrip to india, moved out of parents place while i was there, still in no good terms with them.
thats my year in brief.

Highs :
Stabilised professionally after a bad phase.
Made a couple of really food friends.
Got a wonderful TV.
An even more wonderful bike.
All set for an increase in my family count.
Lows :
Couldn't see my nephew yet. He's almost a year old.
Couldn't go home and spend time with mom and dad.
Broke off with a friend after a nasty spat.
In all, the highs scored way ahead of the lows and so, it was a good year.

I got in touch with my friend from school.
The most important decision that I took was my coming back to India in the first quarter of 2004.
