Initially I thought that the DB would be full of immature 15 yr olds looking for 'girl friends' - people like Raj- as is the case with many other forums, but was surprised to find mature discussions and I sticked around. The original format was very user unfriendly, AFAI was concerned and it still needs the edit function, but the mods think otherwise.

see that guys! those interested can make their moves now...Aquarian81 wrote:It was when I was engaged (Im not anymore btw, its off)

this one's lot better, but initially it was confusing for ppl who were used to the old format. i was confused in the beginning too and rarely posted the first month aftre change (jan2003). i took some time to orient myself and restarted again!Der Schakal wrote:Isnt this one better?CtrlAltDel wrote:i think the change of the DB to the current format confused and put off various old members.![]()

I'm handsome, well-built male 5'6" well endowed seeking highly educated female from good family for friendship" and that kind of crap, of course without any grammar or punctuation!
And one fine day (in 2000) those sites got gobbled up, and in 2001 or 2002, fullhyd.com emerged out of nowhere with a crappy design (they still have a few stray pages with that old design). The then regular members used to post a lot of socially useful messages and it made a lot of sense, unlike the spam thats here now, in every board.
I think these boards are still very immature, but compared to the Indian boards scenario a few years ago, its better now.
