Road towards Charminar

by Sujatha formerly Peeping tom » Fri Oct 29, 2004 7:42 pm

On that day after getting charged up at Qutub Shahi tombs I started seeing still.

I saw the spot where Mr Aurangazeb prayed in a tiny mosque.

Still that Masjid is very active with carpets.

Though there are negative reports, Mr Aurangazeb would have been a very simple man.

I saw biggest of all tombs built for a royal lady Hyaat begum.

At present day budjet estimates it will cost around 25 crores.

25 crores for a tomb of a old lady?

Its ok. No problom. I know how sarkari money goes even now a days.

Then I came to Turkish royal mortuary baths.

I got littlebit embarrased by seeing the spots meant for bathing the dead bodies.

Its ok. As Doctors we are already seeing autopsy.

I came out of the complex.

Saw the great gun used by the Mughal Army against Qutub sahi dynasty.

Then I started my journey towards Charminar.

In those days it would definitely been an royal road.

I was looking for old buildings.

I could see very old mosques.

I got happy by seeing the wonderfully carved styled Toli Masjid.

A little muslim boy confirmed its name.

I saw so many white Masjids.

To my great surprise in that 100% musalman road I saw a Sita Ram temple.

I went inside spent a while.

Who built that?

ANY IDEA?

I slowly went through the history.

The first Qutb sahi king was a Turk.

I beleive he must have been of European race.

I had tea at an irani cafe some where around purana pul.

My husband called me in mobile and gave me a bullshit?

where are you? WHY LATE? I pacified him.

I finally ended up at Charminar.

I was with heavy heart.

With old history in my mind.

I purchased fruit biscuit at Karachi backery.

I returned to my house at secunderabad.

[quote"Sujatha"]The first Qutb sahi king was a Turk. I beleive he must have been of European race. [/quote]brilliant Deduction!

Just asking, and I might be wrong, but does anyone else think that someone has a deep-rooted inferiority complex that manifests itself into a deep-rooted superiority complex, which is again a manifestation of the deep-rooted inferiority complex, that compels that someone to come up with a certain kind of post each time?

Again, I might be wrong...

And although I agree with you in concept....I don't agree with your choice of person you aimed this at.
