housing near Hitech city

by marko » Mon Oct 18, 2004 2:42 pm

Hiya guys,

getting settled in Hyd, really cool place, nicer than Chennai i think (but it makes me remember the things i liked about Chennai like knowing my way around).

it's gotta be the most confusing place in the world to navigate around though. got totally lost coming from the airport to a guesthouse in Jubilee hills, i had given the driver the exact address, he had to ask roughly 65 people (i'm not exagerating) and we kept circling around until we eventually found it at 5 in the morning.

since then i've tried to go to three different places in town but ended up at the same place each time (Monties bar). managed to get myself a map so that should help.

anyhow, i'm working at hitech city, and i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on a place to live thats not too far away from there. A fairly quiet area would be good, and i'd like to limit it to a 50 rs auto ride away at most.

Swagatam Susvgatam Marko bhai.

U R rite abt. jubilee hills. its a very confusing place for ppl. who dont go there often. I guess u will get used to it.

abt. staying in near Hitec city...over the years it has become quite costly to stay there. I suggest u choose a place near Jubilee hills it self. that way u r more close to most of the things.....shops....hotels.....etc.
People are crazy, at times are strange. I am locked-in tight, I am out of range.
I used to care, but things have changed.

It all depends on the price you want to spend on the flat.A close friend of mine owns some of apartments in J.Hills area(3 near Madhapur and a one near Appolo Hospital). He was charging something like 5000-8000.Some of my friends just took one flat for rent and they use it as a party place and a place to take girls after dates.

Hi....since i know this place i think i can give some insights......accomodation in madhapur, miyapur and gachibowli is much more cheaper to jubilee hills and all the three are well connected to hi-tech city...it also depends on what kind of accomodation are you looking for...an independent house or an apartment..also how often would you want to go to the city ...if you want to stay close to your work place these places are recommended... :P
