Spam this or whatever. I have decided that I am going to stop posting on FHDB from today.

I am quitting in protest of the high handedness of the Mods.

If cleanliness is what the Mods purport then why are not the other members reprimanded ?

I had posed a few genuine queries today, why was that removed ?

Did the Mods not get my POV ?

If not then they have made their own conclusions, which not a healthy sign on a DB. A DB should also reflect the reality of the real world.

You cannot make a public DB and make people type what you want.

Appears that 24-09-04 will be my day at the DB.

Come on, DQ. Maybe it was not the mods doing. Many times they may have to take some action which piss people off, but we are all gorwn-ups aren't we?

Jane de yaar. Don't take it too seriously. A lot of things got deleted last night, so maybe some of your posts also got sucked in.

If you can't beat them, join them!

Anyway, think of CAD. ska kya hoga. He will not be able to bear the shock. :?

Correct Sharjeel, lekin my post was not last night but at 8:27 this morning.

A lot of my posts have been removed, but that was understandable, todays....I am not able to comprehend. I get a feeling the Mods to have made a opinion of me like some of you.

I am not being sensitive, but you need to know your right, while you have been carefull all this while not to get personal when people have etc etc.... your posts are removed for no reason :-(.

If FHDB is a community, you need to feel a part of it (though maybe considered radical) but still feel a part of it. But if the people at the top too feel that you "SHOULD BE DISCRIMINATED" you then know that your time has come.

Dear DQ,

It was not just your posts that were removed. A whole lot of posts were removed this morning, including those by others, too.

There are 200-400 posts on these DBs each day currently. There are times when we do not notice flames. There are probably more objectionable posts even by you that haven't been removed, simply since they went unnoticed. There's certainly nothing we have against any one person. The best thing to do is post clean stuff and avoid flames, irrespective of all provocation, and report flames to us.

by DQ the arguer » Fri Sep 24, 2004 1:54 pm

Comming to the topic of Arguments, (DQ and his Behas). One really bad and silly thing with Hyderabadis which is reflecting in FHB to is to get personal.

I have been an eternal arguer in real life too, not only net life.

Some e.g. continue bear with me.

Person A - Baap persson AZ is the greatest cricketer.

Person B - Hmm, I dont agree.

Person A - Jao maki, tumhare ko kya maloom. Kaun score kara bolo itte run

Person B - XY has scored this many runs. CZ has not scored so many runs but his avg is xxx. Maki AZ has so many runs so?

Person A - Maki, mere ko maki. You know no Ma jokes understood?

:-? Puzzelling isn't it. It was a figure of speech which was used around three times in the argument, Only when you saw the facts you took it personal, and to belittle the opponent branded him a slandrer.

I have seen fights escalate to the point of Murders just by the use of the word Ma.

1. If you are so sensitive by the use of that word, do not use it.

2. If some one else uses it, ignore as what he is saying is only proving his mettle.

But no, that kiddishness continues. And in real life I have noticed, Hyds in professional organisations are the worst debaters. They just cannot talk, probably cause corporate envions do not cater to their needs.

Flames on DBs.

eg 1 Spelling

There is every possiblity of a typo or a spelling mistake.

One or more people absolutely must publicly correct the error. Judging from the number of times this happens, there seem to be millions of high school English teacher wannabes on FHDB. Ironically, spelling flames nearly always contain spelling errors.

Spelling flames are bad Netiquette. If you feel absolutely compelled to correct someone's spelling or grammar, do so via private email. Keep in mind that English is not the first language of many people on the discussion board.

Manier times I have seen on this DB, a spelling mistake and the all so knowing come up with their suggestions. Its bad Netiquette and un called for.

i've only noticed this when the spelling mistake was accidentally funny. also, my spelling is brutal, and nobody has ever corrected it here. Anyhow, keep posting, DQ.

I do not agree one bit with this.

In fact, people get pulled up quite a lot over their spelling and grammar on DBs, even though they may be non-english speaking.

Dear DQ:

It appears that the previous post was misunderstood. That was no tech snag - we deleted posts that were arguments and attacks on personal levels. There are no such tech snags on fullhyd.com - this is a secure site.

NOT SULKING THIS TIME GONE FOR SURE.

THERE IS NO TECH SNAG THIS TIME. SURELY SELECTIVE REMOVAL OF POSTS.

I am quitting the boards, please mail me at elmyi@yahoo.com.au to inform of another (unbiased) board where we can discuss / argue, reason for quitting.

WHY WAS MY REPLY TO LETTER TO MINISTER REMOVED?

IN WATCH OUT MEN WILL HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHTS

IS THIS NOT THE UMPTEENTH TIME THE MODS ARE BEING BIASED.

IS IT CASTE / COLOUR / RELEGION THATS PLAYING UP IN DELIBRATELY REMOVING MY POSTS.

THATS IT THIS CALLS FOR MY QUITTING THE BOARDS, AS THE MODS HAVE PROVED THAT THEY DO NOT WANT ME ANY MORE ON THESE BOARDS, BY SELECTIVELY REMOVING MY POSTS TIME AND AGAIN.
