NDTV is not balanced...there is a pronounced pro-congress tilt. AAJ TAK and Star News are pro-BJP. i think only ZEE News and TV9 (telugu) are unbiased. they either condemn everybody, or report with a neutral tone...like Indian Express!Arch wrote:I read somewhere on these posts that NDTV is a little more balanced in its reporting, though ?

Dunno about Zee News or TV9, but if you want news as it happened without any masala attached to it, switch to apna DD. Might be old, might be archaic. But still reports without bias.
Speaking of the topic of this thread, I don't think we Indians can be unilaterally credited for being dumbos. We are not alone. The Americans are with us. How else do you explain George Bush???

really? i thot Aaj Tak was strongly pro-BJP. Anyway Zee News specializes in investigative journalism, maybe thats why they appear neutral to me.akhilis2cool wrote:I think ZEE is pro BJP.
DD? forgot it exists!akhilis2cool wrote:DD news is a lot more balanced than the others I guess thats why not many people watch it.

This is why private news channels hype and sensationalise news items. There are not many takers for unbiased reporting as the fate of DD tells us. Who is to blame then for prejudiced news channels? Us, right?

a typical govt run organization...akhilis2cool wrote:...DD has not moved with times. though they earn alot more money than any other news channel. they dont seem to be using it very well.
