\"I know you gals are here for friendship.\"
<br>
\"Give me your mail ID.\"
<br>
\"I want a beautiful gal to love me or to be friend.\"
<br>
\"Why do you gals shy away from guys?\"
<br>
\"Make friends with me. I am a cassanova, you see.\"
<br>
<br>
What happened to the cool Hyderabadi dudes? Did they run out of cool pick-up lines?
<br>
<br>
\"I know gals need guys and I have a big ****. Mail me.\"

Guys have become so desperate that these pathetic lines are commonly seen in chat rooms and message boards. Forget ettiquette, forget manners, forget pick up lines, even decent behaviour is missing. Why should gals make friends with some \"Golkiska Gottam\" whom they don\'t even know and who never tried to impress them? Oh boy, are we still stuck in those neolithic age where male species buggers a female when he gets a turn on and forgets her after doing his thing? Being a male, sometimes I feel ashamed by pickup lines like these - suddenly thrust into modern civiization, left with an erection and no satisfaction are out to prove their manliness(?) but don\'t realize that it\'s not the way to go. Leaves a bad impression on all Hyderabadi dudes. I have been on several forums and chat rooms (national and international) and seen pickup lines like these (which are in bad taste) and 90% of them happen to be Telugu people and more than 70% of them from Hyderabad! Something is wrong.

I understand that gals are a little shy so the onus is on men to make the first move, but is this the correct approach? What\'s the gals take on this? I have seen many of my friends using this crude approach and it fell flat on their faces, left with public insults. I tried the alternative, well proven approach of a good pickup line and mannerism. Worked fine for me, not just once, several times.
