Reality Check:

F-1, if it comes to Hyderabad, is a good 10 years away from now. You need to build basic infrastructure like International Airports (needs 5 years if started today), superfast multi lane expressways (in the west even a horse is transported in a Big Mack Truck, and we are talking a Formula 1 race car here). While these two are the main hurdles for F1, there are several other hurdles, the main among them being Weather. Temperatures are very high in Hyderabad during summer (when F1 season starts) which makes Bangalore very ideal for racing which has a moderately cool temperature compared to Hyderabad.

Enough whining, trying to be optimistic. If F1 is approved for Hyderabad today, it\'ll take a minimum of ten years. That\'s what China is did. It built an F1 track in 1994 and may get the approval in a year or two, while Qatar is building its track, and will start hosting in three years. If A1 track of UK is closed, then Qatar may be the next in line, then China.
May the Fries be with you!
