Going to Australia for MS

Australia is a very big market worth billions, and if you are a Hardworking person then you can strike rich. Right now there are many openings for Australia, and for this term many students have come here, specially from Hyderabad - and they are still coming as the Australian government recognised the vast potential of Indian markets and rapidly overtaking Indian IT Industry. This happened after a group of senators from Parliament sponsored by the Australian govt. came to India and were surprised by the way IT and other developments were taking place in Hyderabad and in India.

It’s easy if you come as a student and study here - you will be eligible to apply for PR (permanent residency). As for jobs, initially everyone has to get started by doing odd jobs - in the sense supermarkets and service stations and driving taxis. Believe me, driving a taxi you can easily make around (3000) three thousand dollars a month. And with any other casual jobs you can make 2000 dollars a month. And here you don’t have any discrimination based on job. It’s called dignity of labour, so everyone is respected irrespective of what they are doing.

Accommodation is no problem - we all share, so if three or four are living together, then it’s very economical - roughly it\'s 700$ au. A month for a nice double bedroom flat with all facilities. And if four share, then it comes to hardly 175.00$, which is not much I guess when you are earning.

And other stuff like grocery telephone bills and electricity bills altogether would be around 500$, so the total expenditure comes to 750 to 800 $ a month. But if you have any other hobbies and interests, then it would be more. Depends upon individual - like if you have a weakness for girls and drinks. Please don\'t get carried away by girls - and you will come across the sexiest and most beautiful girls that you might have ever seen - I guess not even in your dreams… But our priority is our mission and goal and our vision. These are very important, so first make a career and then take time out for other things.

There are approx 60,000 Indians just in Melbourne, & are increasing rapidly. And that too, they are permanent residents and well settled. And in Sydney, there would be twice that number. Here and in Sydney, we have our Indian night clubs - very popular - and we also have Indian movies screened and at least 100 Indian restaurants - and equal or more grocery stores. And I tell you, it’s just like home. And you find Indians everywhere here – from corporate offices to service stations - so not to worry much. I assure you you will not get homesick. And if you can initially survive for the first six months, then I guess you will do your best and will fulfil your dreams and achieve what you are here for.

Finally, I would say it’s not a bad decision coming to Australia. I wish you all the best, my friends in Hyderabad! Thanx!

To Rahul and Ashok. As an Australian I wish you both the best of luck and hope you find your stay \'down under\' both enjoyable and fruitful.I live in Queensland so can\'t help you much with day to day living in Melbourne. But if you ever want to come to Queensland for a visit I\'d be more than happy to show you around my area which is near a town called Toowoomba (100km west of Brisbane).I\'ve visited India twice and have been overwhelmed with the hospitality encountered both times, and would love to return the favour shown to me.My email is deanmevans@optusnet.com.au

Hi! Rahul,
I\'ve just come in Feb\'2003 here and I find this place good. Many Hyderabadis have come here this sem. Its very nice but I\'m not getting a part-time job coz so many part-time jobs have been filled up. I advise u to apply for a good University here. All the best.

just visit SIEC, an educational consultancy located in RP Road, SecBad. They will provide you all the needed. And for australia i guess IELTS is compulsory and GRE wont serve.
Their contact numbers are 27542458, 6218358.
