A young med student was raped right outside her college in delhi at 2.15 in the afternoon, on one of the capital\'s busiest streets. Just a few days ago, another Delhi university student was dragged into a Qualis and gangraped. The assailant used her cell phone to call for another car. A young girl gets raped in the local train in Mumbai and 5 people just watched on.

How does one combat rape? And what about the social stigma attached to the girl who gets raped? Would anybody ever be able to view her without the \'\'corrupted\'\'tag? What is the right sentence for rape? Should the man be castrated... injected with medicines that diminish his testestorone levels and render him impotent? Should he be hung - capital punishment - to deter further crimes? Or should steps be taken to clamp down on eve-teasing, instead of waiting for the man to go the whole hog and commit rape? What do you guys think?

I give DAMN to the words which are used here, the main objective is to punish the culprits who are involved in such heinous crimes...by killing them in front of all the people , as far as the victim concerned the nation should stand to support her on humanitarian basis irrespective of caste and religion. And in Gujraat all the gang rapists , police personals , govt. authorities and all terrorists organisations like RSS, VHP, BAJRANG DAL , SHIV SENA...and political currupt and cummunal leaders should be punished in the same way. There are 100\'s of reports from US,BRITISH and local press are available stating that the govt. authorities , police , leaders and anti social elements and the above terrorist organisations like are directly involved in gujraat massacre and they are going scott free .. Some shameful events where Indian govt. unsuccessfully trying to cover its lousy mistakes...starting from Bangaru laxman accepting money for purchasing arms in Tahalka case..In purchasing of couffins for soldiers.. Shivaani bhatnaagar\'s case where white coloured leaders were directly involved..100\'s staged encounters and innocent killings in centre as well as in other states ...hyderabad recently and trying to protect their versions and claims., the govt. the police , the administration every where they are trying to hide their guilties and mistakes and crimes and never try to bring justice to the victims. And the more shameful fact is all the educated people belongs to any community are watching the blood shed of innocents silently. No matter when a sister or mother will be raped or gang raped in front of them they will keep silent bcoz she is not their sister or mother or she belongs to other community or caste. Most of the political leaders they are the big liars and RAPING the MOTHERLAND in the name of religion, 100\'s of scams., 1000\'s of innocent killings., They are using Law and Police as pros.(P.C.Panday) .,and no one is there to stop them. 100\'s of Leaders prooved guilty in various scams and involment in killings but they are moving scott free in the society..So what will be the future if these things continues like this. A big question to those people who always trying to proove most educated , knowledgable , responsible citizen of India. I strongly condemn the innocent killings through out India and will prefer the same punishment for the culprits . But I am strongly against punishing innocents on the name of encounters.,These will give a wrong message to the youngsters..who are the future of India. The live example and proove is today\'s DC 24-11-02 about one Azam\'s and NRI\'s FAKE encounter., and police shaking and lousy statements which are contradicting to each other and people reaction after his funeral...which kind of justice is this...In today\'s India All criminals and killers are moving freely in the society , and poor innocent citizens will be labelled as terrorist..thanx to our criminal leaders other terrorists organisations and dumb law and currupt police.

its funny, how these boards keep coming back again and again. the solution is not punishing these rapists as grotesquely as possible. its abt finding a solution. now i am clueless abt this as anyone else. better awareness, better respect for fellow human being, whatever. but let me re-iterate what i mentioned in one of our previous boards on the same topic. death sentence is NOT a solution(nor are some of the horrible punishments put forth in this board). it will only put the life of the girl in danger. why would the rapist let the girl live after committing the crime if he knows she is probably the only witness. and as some clichéd movie dialogs go... “u die only once”. so he would try to eliminate the witness which would give him a high chance to escape the law. think about it. our advaniji should consider this. and yeah, i agree its not a crime that can be condoned.
