Rains wreak havoc

by Your friend » Mon Aug 28, 2000 12:30 am

Being half way across the planet, just wondering what was going on in Hyderabad. My conversation with my parents painted a really grim picture. Is Hyd limping back to normalcy? or are things really bad out there?

Rains wreak havoc

I too share your worries. The disaster was due to bad sewage management followed in the past. The results are there for all to see.
I hope this should be an eye opener and the Govt. should not take an excuse by making weather men as scapegoats

Rains lashed our city and for the first time it is the middle and upper middle class who have been effected. The situation in the coastal areas seems to be worsening.

So whatz your point. That the moderator sit around and prevent people from posting to old irrelevant board. Does it not make more sense for you to ignore it. I know, I know, I am going contrary to my own logic. But be reasonable in what you demand. you might actually get it ;)

These days are more suitable for cloud seeding. I don\'t know why the government is sitting idle. If this is the situation it would be very hard in the coming months to imagine the water crisis.

Hey, aza By that time I was travelling in a Local train towards Secunderabad. The train started exactly at 1715 Hrs from my station concerned. Shortly afterthat there was nice drizzle. We were forced to close the windows.

Afterthat I took Chapati+Coffee at Ramakrishna Restaurent. Walked down for a while. Spent some time at ISKCON Hare Rama temple.

Then returned by APSRTC Bus. It was quiet peaceful evening.

I now pray god to remove Satan and Bad words from your little mind.
