Its not tomorrow anymore, Jackal. My dad asked me to postpone my trip a few more days. So I did. I'll be there at the end of the first week of Feb. Air India hai airline. First time flying with them, I hope they dont disappoint.
Other than the indian food,it isnt impressive. The entire plane is crowded with families,so if you like that then you will probably enjoy it.Its like going in a train. :D

Some more exellent points. And about the Lavatory, dont sit near it.It keeps on going throughout the entire journey and it make a LOT of noise.

Well considering that the retirement age is now 60,there will be a LOT of aunties.

And about the story, you will have fun telling it at parties. :D

Dunno about Indian Airlines, but I travelled in Delta once, between Europe and New york and the steward was around 65 - 70 and the air hostess was around 60, and their hands were shaking  I asked the steward for a glass of water and it took him a whole minute to take it from his tray to put on my tray and he almost spilled it. After that, I didnt ask for anything till I reached New York.

I'll tell u bout a humorous experience I had a few yrz bak.. while travellin thro' Jet airwayz 2 Mum. Itz an hr flight frm here ...since it waz a short flight I really didnt mind sittin newhr in the beginnin n i was sittin b/w 2 strangerz ,1 aunty sittin by the window wid her ANNOYIN brat..n da uncle sittin on the other side.As soon as the flight took off believe me the kid waz competin wid the speed of the plane..

Every now and then the aunty waz playin passin the parcel (kid) wid the uncle over ma head!!Both the lady n da kid seemed 2 b takin turns goin to the wash room :? n while she waz on her spree she dumped da kid wid the uncle. By the time she got bk lunch waz served (she didnt get the food tray) n they were takin bk the trays as it waz a v short flight.

ahh...then the lady fights wid the steward ...askin for food! The poor (cute) guy spent da rest of the time tryin 2 explain tht its LANDIN TIME NOW!! :)

Well either wayz she stole a bun frm my tray :x n stuffed it into da kidz mouth (2 shut him up  )

And finally whn itz time 2 get down I found out tht mere agal bagal mai tu khatoon aur janab baithay thay ...they werent related at all...

So I pity da poor guy more than maself..coz he had 2 play throw ball wid her (jst b'coz he'd given a choco. 2 the kid in the beginnin of the flight!)....

Moral of the story- So Alexis never sit in da middle of irritain ppl.

n yes N'joy the flight.. :D

I really hate flying long distances, especially in the cattle err... economy class... the seats are very small and there is no leg room at all. More so in Low budget flights. The seats are ok for my small frame of body, but I feel pity when I see some americans trying to fit their tall, heavy bodies into the small seats. Last time I was travelling by a budget airline, my co-passener in the aisle seat was a 6'.6" 350 pounder, and he had just managed to fit in the seat with his knees the front seat. He struggled to get up when I had to use the rest room

best airline is Qatar for long flights. Lots of leg room even in economy class (in first class the seats become beds with massaging an all that crazy shysse). Best thing is ... the seat in front of you has a nice screen that you control with a gamepad/remote in yout armrest. You can choose from a whole bunch of movies (english, hindi, asian, arabic), games, tv shows, and some other stuff I didn't look at. Plus, they really seem to like indian things like movies and food.

Big Plus, the stewardesses are amazing :D

......................

also, sorry to butt in with this remark but all those people saying its too expensive in the poll, whats a good price in your opinion. As a side note, that 50/hr for xbox is flat rate so if 4 people are playing split-screen on the xbox it works out to 12.50 rs. each

Emirates is 1 of the best!! Qatar is good as well..but nt as good.. :)

And bout ur original topic  ..u can keep a price of 35-40rs as in when u start n then u can alwayz increase it later on..

Look people are paying 60 bucks at webworld and 40 at Frag.So 20 isnt that much.

And about XBOX,frag is charging 40 so you can also charge the same. :D And the good news is that XBOX prices will drop after the release of XBOX2 which I think will release this year.Right now the price is $130(I think). And you dont need original games, you can place a mod chip so that it works out cheaper. :D

I can still remember my horrible story.Last december(1 yr ago),I was travelling to India ,everything was fine till Paris,at the Air India counter in Paris those guys were telling me that there is no flight like that and it doesnt exist and my ticket was wrong(it was actually and Air India flight operated by Air France)they asked me to wait aside, then after 1 hour I heard an announcement which was going the last call for my flight, then I got pissed and told those guys to listen to the announcement, those guys were shocked and they asked me to wait for 1 day in Paris because the flight was leaving.Luckly there was another Air India flight leaving 1hr after that, then I asked them to place me on that flight.I had to raise my voice couple of times but finally I was placed on that flight.

Then after getting on the flight I realized that it was bloody stinking :x :x :x ,then I had to sit beside a hot girl and a gujarati lady w/ her 2 yr grand daughter who doesnt know a bit of english. My seat was placed right infront of the damn big screen TV.I didnt have any head phones to see the TV because they wernt available. The baby kept on crying and crying. Then this gujju lady made a bed infront of my legs for her grand daughter,if I move my legs,i will kick the daughter,so I had to keep my legs in 1 position for 5 hours.I remember seeing Hulk and Tomb Raider 2 with the subtitles. And finally to top it of I had to write the immigration forms for the entire row.The guju lady didnt know english and she gave me their passports to fill it up and even the hot girl didnt know how to write her form so I had to help.It would be better if they atleast knew hindi. That girl on my right had a GRE book on her,I was doing GRE problems for 2 ******** hrs.I didnt even eat once on the plane, there wasnt any ****ing place to eat, there were bags which prevented me from eating.

Atleast my immigration was quicker,I didnt wait,I just ran from the plane the moment it landed. :x :x :x :x :x It was my worst flight ever.It was 9 hours of hell for me.

Then while coming back to the states, those guys at Air F**KING India overbooked the flight,so they made up some story and told me that my ticket was for the next day and not that day. Then I called up my dad and told him that,he came inside and shouted at the entire AI guys, then we had to tell my uncles name and finally they gave me the boarding pass. Then again there was a crying child right next to me.

The return journey wasnt that bad but I took a vow that day to never fly on AFI again. :x :x :x :x :x

All this talk about Air India and its inefficient in-flight staff, unruly passengers, cancelled and late flights is REALLY making me nervous. I have a stop in Paris, they better not screw anything up. :x

Trust me, Jai, after a long flight from Newark to Paris---I will be in no mood to sight-see. Er....actually I couldnt do that even if I wanted cuz we dont get off the plane in Paris. Were stopping there to refuel and clean-up.

Phir wahan se we stop in Mumbai. I dont like the Mumbai airport. But I hope I see some movie star, that'd be the only consolation.
