Reminds me of a friend in college, tall and handsome from a reasonably rich family (father is IAS), intelligent (free seat), could floor any gal in 5 min and had everything to be called 'cool', you name it he got it, but had one weakness - he didnt realise he was cool, he had insecurities and wanted to be seen with the cool guys, to be part of the so called 'cool' gang (in our college all Mgt quota students were nerds :lol: and 'cool' gang were all free seat students but fail in atleast one course in each sem in engg).

Initally they let him to be in their gang, but slowly they started ignoring him and made fun of him, because of his cool wannabe'ness (?) attitude . All the girls who used to like him slowly started ignoring him and by third year hated him. By finally year he was neither part of 'cool' gang nor Mass gang and became loser. Of a the girls he tried to impress, only one proposed him and this _ rejected her (sign of coolness) and later realised that it was the only oppurtunity he would ever have to be seen with a gf, went back to her after few days and she asked him to buzz off.
