Writing class was a majorrrr bore this morning! The lecturer was discussing MLA style for our research papers.....which is due next week. I havent even decided what Im writing about, so worrying about my bibliography page just now is premature. :cry:

Isnt the MLA style same for every paper and isnt it taught in the first semester(or the first english course)?

MLA style is taught from high school itself. But our lecturer decided to give us a refresher course :roll:

We have to have sources from books, periodicals, and the web in our research paper. And theres a different MLA style for those sources. So thats what we were discussing...........

MLA: MODERN LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION.

We have to write our papers using this style. There are rules we have to follow in punctuation, capitalization, underlining, indents, double-spacing, and alphabetizing entries by authors' last name.

Oh God! You know what I meant! "I write" means type. Who writes long papers? Only God knows what I'd do if it werent for modern marvels like the computer.
