Was great !!



Made a lotta dough. Optimistic about 2005, expecting to make double that.



Tasted a few more cuisines (given that more and more restaurants turning Halaal....good very good.)

Heading North Victoria Mate.



Looking for a serene, Lake front Villa, fishing / trekking and BBQs (Food AGAIN :-P)



Heard a lot about the strawberry farms there, spend a day visitng the farms. Then a long drive back thats it. Nothing exciting

Hmm...2004...pretty Good Year...Pretty Bad as well....

Started off well:Topper in Class,Good Score in CAT Re-Test,

Smashing Presentation,Confidence at an all-time high.....



Mid-Year Slump:Had a Backlog in Radar,Broke a Finger,

Had another minor accident,House Burgled in My absence....



End hurrah:Finished My B.Tech,Moved to Hyderabad,Joined FHDB,

Made Lotsa good Friends,enjoyed Life to the full



Last-Gasp Drawbacks:Unforseen Family Troubles,Moved unwillingly to

Vskp,Horrible SNAP Exam,Unexpected CAT Result,Confidence at an

all-time Low......

One of the best years of me life. In all respects. I've "grown up" more in this year than in any one year. What a friggin' year.



The year started off in a blur..what with my endsems just wrapping up and one very important friendship in a very tumultuous phase. The first few moments of this year were spent trying to get my reliance phone to connect to ONE bloody hutch phone. (first experience of network jams). One of the most beautiful new year's eves ever. Spent the usual way, went to d church for midnight sermon...stayed on the phone. Actually dropped in at T2 to hug me good ole buddies. Called it a day at 3AM. No pardy shardy for moi. :)



Left for Saarang in Jan, had a blast. Slept for a sum total of 14 hrs over 6 days. Made IITian buddies, had a crush on one too. Cutting it short>>> organised a techie event, sms'ed like crazy (1167msgs in a month), screwed my exams as usual, started my blog, applied for CAT, got placed @Cognizant Tech Sol...life took a proper U-Turn, got a crank call from a certain someone saying they were from "MTV"...:?.......



Started off prep for CAT...once in a while :D, kept talkin to dat crank caller, organised Carpe Diem '04, saw it all go down the drain (literally), loved every moment of it :mrgreen: , surrendered me reliance phone, fell in love or somethin like it :mrgreen: , took CAT '04, screwed my exams as usual, sat for nights on end tryin' to analyse CAT, CAT results, calls from 5 IIMS A,B,C,K,I, still believin' it, still talkin to dat crank caller and lovin every moment of it, still in love or somethin like it....lovin life. lookin' onto '05 with a lot of hope and determination to make the most of opportunities at hand....still bloggin'...still spammin.. :mrgreen: still alive... :mrgreen:



2004...loved it.
I know I'm in there somewhere, and if I don't come out with my hands up, I'm going to go in there and get me!

Me is glad that its almost over! :D
Things are supposed to happen the way they happen. And the reason they happen the way the happen is because you try to make them happen in a certain way and may or may not be succesful.

Nice thread

I guess it is the time to look back. As with most people, this year's been a mixed bag. I've had it smooth at times and extremely rocky at times. The only personal high was seeing my best friend of ten years get married. There have been several things that made me feel at my lowest.



I started the year with being relatively new to Hyderabad and having a job that I absolutely loved. I've ended the year knowing Hyderabad pretty much like the back of my hand, but not loving my job as much.



I've enjoyed the process of discovering this city and hope to do a lot more in 2005!

The Lows

- india trip cancelled (missed two weddings :evil:)

- quit job

- grades not what i wanted them to be

- the onions always get me while cooking

- had to take care of household when dad went out of town for work

- went through a tough time with a new friend but now ok :?

- discovered some classmates who made me :x stupid lazy fat asses in my group!

- became a junk food addict

- didnt exercise as much as i would have like to



The Highs

- discovered FHDB

- met (online) really nice and cool individuals from the dbs

- had a great spring semester and summer

- made new friends

- my best got engaged over the summer

- had a great bday and partied a bit

- my cousin got married (the first in the family)

- my best friend in india got married (i had known since i was 2)

- started a blog

- long time bf asked me to marry him :D

- will graduate soon (yes!)

- lost five pounds

- learned how to cook, i make excellent curries and soups!
