no it is a trait seen in rabbits too, for complete digestion of food as some of it is left in the shit. A sort of rumination.

Well, rabbits can eat their own droppings. They have two kinds of droppings. The normal kind and the "night" kind. They can eat their night kind and it's actually really healthy for them to do that because it contains essential nutrients for the rabbits health. And if the rabbit's in the wild, and they cant find food, they have no other choice. So i guess it's not their fault if they do that. It sounds gross to us but it's a way of living for them.
And they are TOO cute to turn down! I wanted one when I was living with my parents and I was in the process of getting some babies but the space that they needed was too much so my parents changed their mind.
Now that I'm not with them, maybe I should get some...

No they don;t trust me i had 2 bunnies they were indian they ate Rice and roti and Pickles! but they dont eat dropping we had Dutch mixed ones

I didn't say that they do. I said that they can. When you buy them, most people tell you not to get frightened if you see them doing that because they MAY do that. You were one of the lucky ones to get some that don't. When I use to go to the pet store, I use to see them doing that.
But who cares if they do or don't! As long as they are as adorable as they are, then that's all that matters. I especially love the long haired ones cause they're more fluffy and "cuddly" Lolol.
