political compass

by mark » Wed Mar 30, 2005 12:47 pm

ok i have the feeling i have posted this here before, but a search didn't turn anything up so maybe it was elsewhere.

ok, steps for a serious conversation

1. Go to http://www/politicalcompass.org

2. Do the test

3. Post your results (whether you are a leftist liberitarian, leftist authoritarian, right wing liberal, right wing authoritarian)

4. we all devide into 4 groups (the 4 above and people who were too lazy to take the test)

5. we sling mud until everyone is coated evenly.

i haven't done this test recently but last time i did i was an extreme leftist liberitarian.

Economic Left/Right: -1.50

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.05

This puts me at almost the exact same position in the chart, as that of Pope John Paul II :D.

I will digest what it all means and come back to this thread.

it means economically you are centre/right wing, i.e. believe in an open market with some government restrictions, globalisation while protecting certain delicate business areas like agri.

Socially you are Liberatarian, i.e. respect the importance of an individuals rights, live and let live, etc.

Pretty well balanced actually.

I'd like to see Agonys Requiems results :)

Lol. NO, don't you think its the other way around?

That I haven't mellowed but went to the extreme of the Leftist region? I mean I knew that I was (and still am) a yellow bellied democrat...I just didn't know to which extent.

And ofcourse I am getting older - no one is 21 forever, right?

But, oh well. :P

damnn right man.. its fkin scary i tell ya!! i mean. i kept tryin to justify my choices.. but damnn.. told me quite a bit bout how i think..and i dont like it.. but.. if i liked it.. then it wudnt be true.. hottdaamnn!!! but i think the whole concept of tht.. of govts really not bein concerned bout the general population and rapin the corps, is something tht was amassed from some three questions.. will have to back track and see which ones.. but those three ya four questions pretty much decided it...

So when do we start slinging mud at each other??

I'll start by stating that I believe we need another world war to really "get things" going. We've become a very stagnant race. Stagnant in terms of technology, evolution and all the fancy words you wanna put in, including ideology.

To beat this stagnation, I say bring on Hitler.....let him wipe another race out.

Atleast we'll get off our scrawny butts and have a reason to live.

We wont be an obese population anymore.

More justifications if anyone disputes my sick ideas.
